Mr President, Commissioner, go ahead and say that VOX does not participate in this House's anti-American phobia. Europe needs a stable and loyal trade alliance with the United States. There is no real alternative to the great transatlantic pact. To throw oneself in the arms of China, as many here propose, would be suicide. Many of those who insult American democracy on a daily basis will vote in favor of the agreement only to save von der Leyen and that waning majority alliance of the Popular Party with the left from ridicule. Yes, we want an agreement with the United States, as we want it with Ibero-America, but different from what this European Commission offers us, incapable and finished. And, as we know the corrupting capacity of the Chinese regime, special care must be taken with the purchase of wills. Madam President, 30 years ago in Srebrenica there was the greatest massacre in Europe since the Second World War. Serbian forces, in a war, gathered all adults, children and adolescents of another belief, of Muslim belief, in the Bosnian community, in the village of Srebrenica. They drove away the women, opened pits and began killing, as was only remembered from the German special units when they were in Poland and the East. The population of Srebrenica was officially protected by the United Nations. Spain as a whole has heard from the three closest collaborators of the head of Government Sánchez how they talk about their robberies, bribes, illegal commissions and prostitutes employed in public companies. It is the underworld, with the Sanchez family, that is adding cases of corruption, one after another. And more recordings arrive – more have arrived today – involving more ministers. So this just started. It is already evident that the PSOE is a criminal organization that has kidnapped the Government of Spain. Madam President, Hungary is probably one of the safest countries in Europe for homosexuals. Mr President, eighty years ago the military defeat of German National Socialism closed one of the most monstrous pages in the history of humanity, generated, remember, in Europe and by Europe. It was the nation of poets and thinkers that caused the industrialized genocide that was the Holocaust of the Jewish people and the burning of the entire continent. It was the arrogance of totalitarian idealism that prioritized human utopia over the sacredness of life until it fell into the black hole of total crime. They were going to the ideal world. ‘Am deutschen Wesen soll die Welt genesen’: German essence will heal the world. It resonates disturbingly in the arrogance of those who today marginalize the dissenting. That war killed sixty million people. Nazism succumbed in twelve years, but communism remained, the other redemptive ideology in pursuit of the ideal that only generates hell. Communism murdered more than a hundred million, it is still alive and present today and it is also here in this room. Because on May 8, one part of Europe was liberated, but, in the other, only one tyranny was exchanged for the other. Communism was transformed and, if in Russia we have an aggressor and criminal oligarchy, today in the West we have it disguised as social engineering, collectivist egalitarianism, socialism that pursues the same ends. In honor of so many millions of victims, we defend freedom and truth, the supreme weapons against redemptive, totalitarian and always criminal ideologies.

The European Union, whose leaders always fill their mouths with moral superiority and lessons from the rest of the world, has many corpses in its closet, but few infamies are greater than those committed by the European Union against the people of Cuba, who have suffered a relentless communist dictatorship for sixty-five years. The complicity of European democracies with this bestial tyranny is one of the most sinister and shameful chapters of foreign policy. And it looks like they want to continue it. It seems that they want to continue as Mr. Borrell, who acted more as ambassador of Cuba than as representative of twenty-seven democracies. The so-called EU-Cuba Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement is part of that disgrace. To our shame, it was two presidents of the Government of Spain – Zapatero and Rajoy, a socialist and a popular – who orchestrated and allowed this Agreement, which is nothing more than a financing pact for a criminal communist dictatorship in exchange for nothing, for absolutely nothing. That has been the Spanish bipartisanship, friend of the longest and most ruthless dictatorship in Hispanic America.
