Escalating student riots in France: arson attacks on schools, assaults against firefighters, police officers and teachers, including in La Ciotat, and the role of far-left parties in inciting violence (debate)
Mr President, France is a warning to the whole of Europe. Schools are on fire, police are attacked, and entire districts are ravaged by violence and unrest. And frankly, as problems continue in the second and third generations, integration has failed. For decades, entire districts have changed populations, while the socialists and the left have looked the other way. I myself have been working with…

The impact of the implementation of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) on SMEs, its administrative burden and challenges for the European Single Market (debate)
Mr. President! Dear colleagues, I come from West Jutland, and we know who pays when the EU comes up with new crazy rules. People do it, and companies do it. Just look at the packaging regulation. A good purpose drowns in demands for registration and paperwork. It costs time, it costs money, and the bill ends up with consumers. We are talking about Europe's competitiveness. to create jobs. Narco-trafficking in Europe’s waters: protecting our borders and supporting our law enforcement officers (debate)
I am really proud that we in Denmark have our legal reservation, because I have worked with international and cross-border crime for 10 years. And our opt-out in Denmark protects both the police and our legislation. It thus protects the fact that we can actually implement new investigative methods without having to ask the EU for permission. This makes it possible to adapt the methods of investiga…

Narco-trafficking in Europe’s waters: protecting our borders and supporting our law enforcement officers (debate)
Madam President! Dear colleagues, I've been a police officer for 19 years and I know what drugs really are. That's knocking on a door at two o'clock in the night. A father and a mother open, and their faces crack when they understand why. Your child has died of an overdose. You'll never forget that. Meanwhile, cocaine flows through Europe's ports and borders. And what does the EU do? They write st…
