Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, the left is crying, protesting and tearing its clothes not because a people, the Venezuelan people, has been oppressed and hungry, but because it has been freed by a dictator whose only merit, in fact, was the communist faith. Who will miss Maduro? The 8 million Venezuelans forced to flee the country? Certainly not foreign companies, which have suffered a proletarian expropriation of 20 billion dollars, and certainly not that 80% of the population that is reduced to poverty in one of the countries that was among the richest in the world and which is destroyed by failed statist policies and where today, to go to the hospital, you have to bring the gauze from home bought on the black market. For the League, diplomacy is the priority path, as well as the self-determination of peoples, but we firmly condemn anyone who, under the excuse of international law, has tried to justify a ferocious dictatorship only because it is aligned with the worst communist ideology.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, European industry is stuck at the stake, our cities are hostage to the violence perpetrated by illegal immigrants and they are building the largest mosque in Europe out here. But, for the left, the top priority is to launch a European anti-discrimination directive, which, incidentally, has been stalled for 17 years, and does not realize that there is no discrimination more urgent to deal with than the one that Europe is doing to itself and to Europeans. Because, in the name of ideology and political correctness, everything that until yesterday was the foundation of our society, today is openly discriminated against and ghettoized: not only our Christian roots, but also our industry, our agriculture, our cars. The opening to Islamization and the stop to traditional engines are only the most recent examples of this delirium of myopia and self-harm. And, then, if we do not want to succumb, we need an act of courage and responsibility to change this Europe as soon as possible, which is under the illusion of having a future by favouring its competitors and being ashamed of itself.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, it took three years of battle to confirm that the Commission admitted that it had blatantly blocked thermal engines since 2035. Now that we finally have a proposal to amend the regulation, the mountain has given birth to the mouse. Eh, yes, because the Commission, instead of having the courage to definitively remove obligations, in fact, to targets impossible to achieve, has limited itself to an irrelevant corrective, which is the reduction of the obligation of exhaust emission reductions from 100% to 90%: Nothing. This, in fact, means saying goodbye to the derogation on hybrid cars, saying goodbye to the derogation on cars with biofuel, in other words, saying goodbye to the automotive sector, however, without saving the environment. Therefore, peddling this change as the solution to the salvation of the sector is a mockery for all European citizens, but above all for all those workers who lose their jobs because of these follies.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, do we want to build electric cars? We are subordinate to Beijing. Do we want to build modern defense systems? Beijing must authorize us. Do we want progress, innovation and the future? We depend on Beijing. Because, with the Green Deal and its nefarious industrial policies, this short-sighted and ideological Europe has sold off its economy to its biggest competitor, China. The left, champion of minorities, has always closed its eyes to this scourge, bartering women's rights for submission to political correctness. The League, on the other hand, has always opposed it and today, finally, thanks to the DDL Sicurezza, even pregnant women will be able to face certain forms of detention. This will therefore be a turning point, not only to stop the criminal activities of the Roma, but above all to put an end to a shameful practice, which humiliates motherhood and tramples on women's rights.

(IT) Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, radical Islam shows all its ruthless inhumanity in Afghanistan. Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, the European Commission has succeeded in destroying our country's economy, but it has certainly made China's economy rich. In fact, because of electrification and the forced ecological transition, we are now completely dependent on a communist country and certainly not a democratic one. And while we get bogged down in the Green Deal, between constraints, prohibitions and green bureaucracy, China has invaded us with goods produced without respecting any rules, and has stolen our intellectual property and new technological patents. And while he digs, refines and sells at the price he wants the raw materials, that price that today, coincidentally, is rising. Guess who will pay the final bill? We are. Here is the paradox, therefore, served: We want electric cars, wind turbines and batteries, but we refuse to look for or produce the materials needed to build them in Europe. So, we have to understand that it is already too late and we have to reverse the course, otherwise from the green transition we will actually only be left to the green.

Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, even a child knows that it is not possible to build the roof of a building unless the foundations are first built. Yet this short-sighted and ideological Europe has done so. Defying the laws of common sense and rationality, it imposed its electrical transition by decree, without, however, worrying about setting up an adequate production and distribution network that would guarantee the necessary foundations for the noble objective of environmental sustainability. The result today is before everyone's eyes. The building of the Green Deal It would have already collapsed on itself if coal-fired power plants, Middle Eastern oil, Chinese technology, but above all the enormous efforts of citizens and businesses that today find themselves paying the most expensive bills in the world. You started from ideology and now, just now, you are wondering how to do it in practice, with a resounding delay that will cost us millions more euros. So much to pay the price of your crazy choices are always the same: the citizens I cram and the businesses I shut down.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, the cancellation or delay of a flight has serious consequences for people's lives and work. They can ruin a holiday costing sacrifices, make a customer lose or blow up a deal. Today, Europe, with a new regulation, intends to squeeze the rights of travellers, increasing the hours of delay of aircraft needed to be compensated, and thus effectively reducing reimbursements by up to 85%, and lengthening the time for rerouting on other flights. We will oppose any attempt to harm consumers, but in the same way we will continue to fight against absurd rules. green, Like the ones that are taxing our European airlines, which oblige them, and only them, to use a share of ecological fuels five times more expensive than traditional ones, thus effectively benefiting foreign companies. It is time for Europe to finally be on the side of those who make it grow and prosper, protecting its citizens and valuing its businesses.

Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, while Europe is dealing with tariffs, tariffs are already among us. And Trump didn't put them: You have put them in these years, when you have cut off the legs of manufacturing, trade, agriculture, with bureaucratic burdens that cost our companies 154 billion euros every year, so much more than the 100 billion euros in which the future American tariffs have been estimated. You have self-imposed tariffs even when you have launched short-sighted ideological policies such as the Green Deal, stopping the endothermic engines that are only leading Europe to productive desertification and unemployment, depriving families of their purchasing power. So, instead of pointing the finger at those leaders who choose to do the interest of their country, take an example and cancel all those impositions that are leading Europe to industrial and geopolitical suicide. Otherwise, tariffs are yet another convenient scapegoat to cover up the failures of self-defeating policies, unable to give Europe a future: The future he deserves.

Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, once again I am appalled by a surreal debate in this House, which has been going on for far too long: Taxpayers' money to integrate Roma communities. We are talking about 21 billion euros only between 2014 and 2020. Well, I don't think it takes a plethora of officials or experts to understand that these programs are resounding failures: It is enough to take a tour of the Milanese or Rome subways to witness every day the odious phenomenon of Roma pickpockets, who also claim that stealing is their job. It is enough to take a tour of a Roma camp to see that there is neither legality nor integration there, or to talk to a school leader to understand that the participation of Roma children in school is close to absences of up to 100%. So, here, the money that we use for these programs, let's give it to the police to bring security back to our cities, because to integrate the Roma it is enough that they do only one thing: that they respect the rules, just as all of us citizens do.

Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, today in this House you want to talk about better wages, the right to health, the right to education, but then I ask you why when the Italian Government asked to be able to invest in order to reduce the cost of labour, to give more weight to wages, to restructure schools, to strengthen the health system, the answer was: No, the stability pact is untouched! Today you radically change your mind and instead give us permission to make debt. Debt, however, not for the benefit of citizens, but at the expense of citizens, putting a debt of €850 billion on their shoulders and on those of future generations: a monstrous figure that will not benefit the community but the car manufacturers, who will finally come out of the crisis to which Europe has condemned them, building some useless and dangerous tank. Enough hypocrisy, we who are always on the side of Italian citizens will never be your accomplices.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, today, the Commission is giving us yet another strategy to relaunch European industry, after having sunk it with its own hands. Yet, in your "Clean Industry" plan, we fail to see any substantive changes: Confirm the insane race to the electric; Just whisper the phrase "technological neutrality" and snubbed the use of nuclear power for civilian purposes. In addition, in the face of the collapse of the electric car, instead of reversing on the Green Deal In a completely inconsistent way, you decide to invest €850 billion to build tanks. This Mercosur free trade treaty risks causing incalculable and irreversible damage to our agricultural businesses, but also to our citizens. This agreement will eliminate 92 % of European duties on imports from these countries. Too bad that, in this way, we will find ourselves on the tables produced with low quality standards and hygienic standards lower than European ones. Not only: these foods will be sold at bargain prices, unfairly competing with our producers and could therefore also put the health of our citizens at risk. And, once again, it will be farmers and consumers who will pay the costs of Brussels' nefarious policies.

Do you not think that, before eliminating any duty to make us invade by agricultural products poor in terms of quality, to sell a few more cars, it would be appropriate instead to review our European policies and stimulate our domestic demand and not that of foreign countries?
