The recent hybrid attacks and instrumentalisation of migrants in Ceuta and the need for a coordinated response to protect EU’s external borders (debate)
Look, I'll answer you as a general: Everything is possible in a hybrid war. But to a war one responds with a war, and therefore, one responds with all those procedures that are typical of a war activity, and therefore, this supports the fact that these physical barriers should have been financed in advance and not with the constant refusal of this Parliament and this Commission to create a real ba…

The recent hybrid attacks and instrumentalisation of migrants in Ceuta and the need for a coordinated response to protect EU’s external borders (debate)
Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, in just two days in Ceuta, more than 70 000 invaders illegally swept over an external border of the European Union: The Russians had to invade us, and instead, the Moroccans invaded us. Today we borrow 800 billion euros to defend ourselves from the Kremlin. But this same Europe refuses to finance those physical barriers that the invaders violated in order to ent…

Electrification Action Plan (debate)
Colleague, very interesting question. Too bad that this energy independence, which you evoke, is not with renewable energy, because if it is true that the wind and the sun are renewable, the rare earths that are used to transform the energy of the wind and the sun into electricity are not renewable. And these rare earths and materials and metals that we need, do you know who we import them from? F…

Electrification Action Plan (debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, Commissioner, clean electricity, but the only thing we need to clean is our brains, from the worms and dogmas of ideological environmentalism. Over the last 20 years, we have installed 60 gigawatts of wind and photovoltaic power in Italy, at a cost of EUR 70 billion, enabling us to produce: Look at me, Commissioner. – only 4 % of total national energy needs, …

Recent proposals to fight poverty in the EU (debate)
Mr President, Commissioner, it is a pleasure to see you again in this hall. Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, it is not pious to sing about the fallen, said Ulysses to his servant, after the massacre of Proci by himself on his return to Ithaca. Similarly, it is not pious – and it is undoubtedly ironic – for this Commission to question the poverty it has itself caused by its wicked choices and po…

Rise of political violence, notably by far-left organisations (debate)
Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, the extreme right, the fascist danger, the goose pass and the medical cordon. On the other hand, those who, in the streets of Europe, break, burn, burn and assault the police with a hammer are left-wing violence. In words they say the defenders of freedom, democracy, rights. But in fact they do much more. As a member of this House who is being investigate…

EUCO and situation in the Middle East (joint debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, Mrs von der Leyen, what an honour to have you here. You are not often seen in this House. I honestly thought he was on the phone with Trump to decide the fate of this war. Instead, with Trump, on the phone, there was Putin. To date, you have done absolutely nothing for this war, except to declare yourself worried. Now, I do not know if she has noticed – becau…

The urgent need to combat discrimination in the EU through the horizontal anti-discrimination directive (topical debate)
Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, Commissioner Lahbib, it is a pleasure to see you again. She is an expert in survival. And from his backpack, which was supposed to save us from the invasion of the Russians, today he would have to pull out a defibrillator to revive this proposal for an anti-discrimination directive, which has been dead for decades. It is since 2008, in fact, that the Council doe…

Commission Work Programme 2026 (debate)
Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, this Commission is striving to present to us today a programme which is emblematic of its failure over the last six years. Al Green Deal, which has destroyed our economy, and a totally inadequate immigration policy, which has eroded our welfare state and undermined the already vacuous identity of the old continent, there is also a ReArm Europe It serves the inte…

This is Europe - Debate with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Luc Frieden (debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, Prime Minister, you have offered us your vision of Europe, but the image you have given us appears to be somewhat blurred and distorted. I advise you to change ophthalmologist, because the Europe that the citizens of the old continent suffer every day is the Europe of total failure. First, the failure of the Social Democratic leadership, which has filled us w…

Ukraine (joint debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, in my life I never thought I would have to agree with one of the pasionaria socialism, the green deal and the transfer of national sovereignty to the Brussels technocracy. But one right thing in his life, Commissioner Teresa Ribera said it: This European Union has failed. It failed on tariffs, so brilliantly negotiated by "Frau von der Leyen"; failed on immig…

Upcoming NATO summit on 24-26 June 2025 (debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, s'ils n'ont pas de pain ? Qu'ils mangent de la brioche! Yes, because yesterday I went shopping at the supermarket. I haven't met you, Mrs. Kallas. Evidently, you and Mrs. von der Leyen have someone else do the shopping. But it wasn't just any supermarket, it was the Kiel Institute, and I immediately went to the tank department and found a price list: The Germ…

EU support for a just, sustainable and comprehensive peace in Ukraine (debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, there is an old saying: If you're not at the table, then you're on the menu. Today in this House we should have talked about peace, but the only words I have heard in this House are: weapons, ammunition, sanctions and wars. Yes, because peace, before discussing it, must be wanted. But it does not appear to me that any member of this Commission, let alone of t…

EU Preparedness Union Strategy (debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, there is a German, a Frenchman, a Belgian and an Italian. It sounds like the beginning of a joke, but it's not. Von der Leyen, Macron, Lahbib and Draghi – the same people who plunged us into a very acute crisis – tell us today what we should do to get out of it. And, on the other hand, they gave us the electric machines, they gave us the war to the bitter end…

White paper on the future of European defence (debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, today Mrs von der Leyen is Polyphemus and my name is Nobody and I can tell you with absolute certainty that the White Paper is a Trojan horse. Why, who is the enemy? And what are the strategic scenarios? Because if the enemy is Russia, Russia spends in absolute terms, in defense, two and a half times less than the European Union spends and has a GDP lower tha…

European Council meetings and European security (joint debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, Mrs von der Leyen: But where is he? Mr. Costa, isn't she hiding behind you, Mrs. von der Leyen? Because Mrs von der Leyen is afraid of this Parliament and she invokes Article 122, the state of emergency, to fool the only European institution elected by the people and to indebt us and our children for 850 billion euros to be spent on arms. Yet the Russian tank…

Uniting Europe against actors hostile to the EU: time to strengthen our security and defence (topical debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, about two years ago President Draghi, the author of the well-known report, told us: Do you want peace or the air conditioner? Here, today we have neither one nor the other, because in Ukraine the cannons thunder and the air conditioner we can not turn on for the great cost of energy. Increasing defense spending, with an increasing cost of energy and raw mater…

Restoring the EU’s competitive edge – the need for an impact assessment on the Green Deal policies (topical debate)
Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, Commissioner Ribera, I am here, you look me in the eye. We all had to die; We had to be wiped out by climate armageddon. But we're all here, alive and well. The planet is advancing, prospering, and the world's population is growing at the rate of 75 million a year. It has taken 32 years since the Rio conference to realise that the European Union's insane, drasti…
