Situation of fundamental rights in the EU in 2022 and 2023 (debate)
Madam President, this annual report on fundamental rights has become the psychiatrist's couch where you expel your traumas, your hatreds and your double standards. Outcome of the UN Climate Change Conference 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (COP28) (debate)

Jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition of decisions and acceptance of authentic instruments in matters of parenthood and creation of a European Certificate of Parenthood (debate)
Mr President, Commissioner, here we are debating a report which seeks automatic and mandatory recognition of parenthood in all Member States regardless of the way parenthood has taken place, going beyond the public order, legal tradition and civil law of the Member States. This means recognising surrogacy and multi-parenthood through the back door, with fraud, and putting an end to the family law of each Member State, unlawfully harmonising legislation and threatening national identity. Surrogacy is an attack on the dignity of the human being. It is a practice that hides horrible realities: children without parents; women in vulnerable situations, exploited, harassed, abused; persons who have become the object of trade. But Europe was built on the opposite: the sacredness of human life, its non-negotiable, impassable, irrevocable character. That is the dignity of man, which is in article 2 of our Treaty. That Paco and Susana can take a catalog and select a Ukrainian girl because they like the color of their eyes to provide the genetic material with which to gestate their child in Natasha's womb does not make Alexandra, or Natasha, or Paco, or Susana, or that the child are happier or freer. One year after Morocco and QatarGate – stocktaking of measures to strengthen transparency and accountability in the European institutions (debate)

Review of the Spanish Presidency of the Council (debate)

Defence of democracy package (debate)
Madam President, any plan to prevent foreign interference will fail if you do not take into account that there is no democracy without a people. They violently assaulted our democracy, our coexistence and our freedom. According to Article 2 of the Treaty, the Union is founded on the rule of law, as the rule of law exists when laws are equal, permanent and fair general rules for all, and there is a separation of powers. An amnesty law has the devastating effect of depriving judges of the constitutional function of judging and enforcing the court. The General Council of the Judiciary, the Supreme Court, prosecutors, senior officials, professors, university professors in Spain, unanimously speak and denounce the blow to the rule of law. Amnesty laws are only admissible if they are expressly provided for in the Constitution – Portugal, Italy, a European nation. A true geopolitical Europe now (topical debate)

Water scarcity and structural investments in access to water in the EU (debate)

SME Relief Package (debate)
Mr President, Commissioner, we had to wait until we broke the record for bankrupt companies since 2015 for the Commission to surprise us with a proposal for measures for SMEs.
