Ensuring sustainable, decent and affordable housing in Europe - encouraging investment, private property and public housing programmes (debate)
Mr President, in order to solve the housing problem, what we do not need is a Commissioner for Housing, when the Union lacks competence. So, I'm going to talk about national issues, which are the ones that matter. Releases six measures: freeing up land sequestered by politicians in regions and municipalities that restrict supply and increase price by creating pockets of corruption; eliminate and lower taxes that increase the cost of construction and sale, zero VAT on the first home and not on municipal capital gains; not favour speculative investment or benefit the foreigner over the national; renounce climate delusions by imposing climate-neutral houses that make their value more expensive; combat squatters, patera flats and mass immigration that renders neighbourhoods uninhabitable; and finally, of course, investing in national cheap housing schemes that revitalize the family-friendly construction sector. In fifteen years, four million houses were built in Spain giving property and a future to thousands of families, to millions of families. In 2023, 5,000 flats and half the rent were built. So, fewer left-wing speeches and more housing construction.
Presentation of the programme of activities of the Hungarian Presidency (debate)
Madam President, how many Europeans have voted for von der Leyen? He comes here, insults Hungary and leaves – he's gone from the debate! It is a disgrace to all those who supported Ursula von der Leyen in this Parliament. This is not the house of democracy; This is the house of demonic hypocrisy. The rule of law and the separation of powers are threatened by left-wing and popular governments across Europe. In Spain, the People's Party and the Socialist Party have divided up the judges with the satisfaction of the Commission, but the problem is Hungary. German governments have been Putin's main allies, and Sanchez buys gas and oil from Russia as if there is no tomorrow, but the problem is Hungary. The Commission has handed the European economy over to Chinese dependency, relocating businesses and jobs, but the problem is Hungary. In Spain, the wife and brother of the Prime Minister are under judicial investigation, and also several ministers, but the problem is Hungary. Look, Prime Minister Orbán's speech is a breath of fresh air in this rarefied atmosphere of this Parliament: protecting the innocence of children, securing borders, preventing mass immigration and lowering taxes, as well as defending the family, the principle of subsidiarity, cooperation, local communities and the competitiveness of businesses. And it's true: Women are safer on the street in Budapest than in Brussels, in Paris, in Berlin, in London or, unfortunately, in Madrid. If you were not so sectarian, you would see in the Hungarian government a way to build a good life.
The crisis facing the EU’s automotive industry, potential plant closures and the need to enhance competitiveness and maintain jobs in Europe (debate)
Madam President, sometimes I think most of you are agents of the Chinese Communist Party. Everyone who voted in favour of the European Green Deal and the directive banning the combustion engine in 2035 is responsible, but now I realise that they are also hypocritical and phony, because everyone from here to there voted in favour and now appear as defenders of the car industry. Giving up an industry in which we were world leaders to be dependent on China, which produces 70% of batteries and controls the supply chain for their production, is the best way to induce suicide in the European economy. In Spain, the automotive industry employs two million people. It is 10% of GDP and production has fallen by more than 15%. Audi, Volkswagen, Renault, SEAT, all closing factories and throwing workers into the street. In Spain, the best-selling car is one whose sales price does not exceed 14,000 euros. Ten years ago it was an 18 000 euro vehicle. They're already achieving their goal. They have made Europeans poorer. Meanwhile, there are politicians who consider that freedom consists in exchanging your car for a transport voucher and other liberticides impose the greatest restrictions on the movement of humble people known in the history of Europe, such as in Madrid. Borders open to illegals and fortress cities closed to those who cannot buy an expensive and inefficient car. A few days ago, I sent Mrs von der Leyen a letter demanding that the impact study be brought forward in order to put an end to this criminal directive. Fifty-five of you supported her. The rest I suppose are thinking about buying a Chinese electric car, but those out there do not have our salaries and do not have that freedom.
Composition of committees and delegations
Madam President, pursuant to Rule 202 of the Rules of Procedure in conjunction with Rule 10, I would like to express my revulsion at the lies, hoaxes and disinformation publicly voiced today by a Vice-President of this Parliament. This morning, in a Spanish media outlet, Mr González Pons lied that the resolution we are going to vote on today on electoral fraud in Venezuela did not have the support of VOX and this political group, and not only has our support and signature, but that this political group has had a substantial role in drafting the best text in defense of freedom and the rule of law in Venezuela and against the kidnapping, torture, murder and violation of political rights by socialist tyranny. We will not indulge in lies or hoaxes. Apologize if your pride allows, but the stain of indignity will remain forever, like your photo and your agreement with the Chinese Communist Party.
Organised crime, a major threat to the internal security of the European Union and European citizens (topical debate)
Madam President, Europe is the paradise of crime and the continent where crime increases the most. In the first six months of the year alone, 1,200,000 crimes have been committed in Spain. We are ranked fifth out of 44 European countries. There is, almost throughout Europe, a kind of tolerance for crime and a sickening weakness for the offender, a moral deformation that leaves the victims defenseless. I do not know if it is the fault of Marx, Freud or May '68, but, especially if the aggressor is a foreigner, the media and the parties have agreed to hide the identity of the aggressor. And the left always has an excuse to blame the system, even though they are the system, and the false right has no ideas anymore. We see in Europe crimes banished or that we have never known: sexual assaults in herds; machetes in broad daylight; exclusion zones where the police cannot enter for fear that they will be sold by politicians or that, in the confrontation, the criminal will have better weapons; mafias behind illegal street vending, which destroys traditional commerce and degrades neighborhoods; mafias that engage in systematic theft of neighbors and tourists or illegal occupation of property; drug trafficking mafias that murder our civil guards, as happened in Barbate, because of an accomplice government that leaves them defenseless; mafias dedicated to human trafficking, that flood our streets with illegal immigrants and that have political structures and NGOs that feed their business and sponsor the other half of the trip. I heard the commissioner be surprised that the mafias and drug trafficking routes come from Africa. We've been saying it for a while: The same mafias that bring drugs are the ones that bring illegal immigrants. Most offenders are on the street in less than twenty-four hours, despite being repeat offenders. And, if they are foreigners, they are not deported. I have also just heard the Commissioner say that they are going to reach an agreement with Bolivia and Brazil, he only needed to add Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua. But how are we going to come to an agreement in the fight against crime against governments that are themselves a criminal structure? The São Paulo Forum, the Puebla cartel, governments controlled by drug trafficking... Are we going to make a deal with these? Big deal, Sheriff. But, look, there's no other method to combat crime. The offender is sought, identified, arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned. That is why police cooperation is crucial and why no Member State, as has been the case with Belgium for years, should become a sanctuary for criminals. And, if they are foreigners, they are deported. Look, I don't want the police to tie with the criminal, I want him to win every time, I don't want to go to police funerals. Europe has ceased to be a safe place, and it is because of politicians who prefer the criminal to the police.
The devastating floods in Central and Eastern Europe, the loss of lives and the EU’s preparedness to act on such disasters exacerbated by climate change (debate)
Your Honor, I believe that Europe has always been characterized by putting scientific knowledge at the service of man, and not man at the service of fanatical theories. I therefore believe that the infrastructures to protect us from floods, as well as, in my country, in Italy or in Portugal, the infrastructures to ensure the distribution of water throughout the territory of nations, are absolutely necessary. What harms the planet is fanaticism, not the effort and work of men adapting to reality.
The devastating floods in Central and Eastern Europe, the loss of lives and the EU’s preparedness to act on such disasters exacerbated by climate change (debate)
Madam President, first of all, my solidarity with all the victims and nations affected by the floods in Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Romania and Slovakia, and my tribute to all the volunteers. This misfortune shows, once again, that the effective way to deal with emergencies is coordination, cooperation, solidarity and mutual aid between sovereign nations, without interference from superstructures of bureaucrats, so let us activate the European Union Solidarity Fund now. Knowing how the von der Leyen Commission works, I fear that its next proposal will be a regulation to ban flooding as if it were in our power to dictate the pace of weather conditions. Not a single euro of the billions you have dedicated to mitigating climate change, destroying agricultural and industrial production, blaming methane on cows, relocating businesses or implementing a massive layoff plan has served to protect the victims: if half of the tax money had been used to carry out adaptation works, dams, diversion of water, dams ..., the harmful effects would surely have been reduced. Nature is ungovernable and from time to time reminds you that you are not gods, even if you pretend to be, so less mitigation and more adaptation. In Spain we have a problem of usual droughts that is not solved because fans of the 2030 Agenda say that you can not make infrastructures that take water from surplus basins to those who need it because it damages the planet. And, curiously, it is the nefarious socialist minister Teresa Ribera, now proposed as vice president of the Commission, who is responsible for the disaster: someone who in six years as a minister in Spain has not met once with the agrarian organizations and has no bloody idea of justice or competitiveness, so if you vote in favour, you will be responsible. I end by regretting that Prime Minister Orbán has not been able to come, although it serves as a lesson to you from a ruler who puts the interests of his people before a photo in Strasbourg. Hopefully in October he will honor us with his presence.
Global measures towards social media platforms - Strengthening the role of DSA and protecting democracy and freedom in the online sphere (debate)
Mr President, in Spain the Sánchez government, invoking the Digital Services Regulation, will today approve its plan to muzzle critical media by stating that in Spain democracy is besieged by disinformation campaigns, pressure on journalists and corrupters, but the only ones who are besieged by corruption and endanger democracy are the wife and brother of Sánchez, his party and his government, and the only ones who suffer the pressure and threat are the judges and ordinary Spaniards. I said it in the last legislature: under the expression "hate speech" hides the largest censorship operation in modern history. When a guy like Sanchez claims to protect democracy by putting virtual muzzles on free citizens, we are facing the last step before the autocracy, once all the institutions of control have been surrendered by the shameful pacts with the Popular Party. Detentions of British citizens for tweeting about the migratory invasion suffered by Europe; a Commissioner’s threat to Elon Musk for interviewing Donald Trump; the initial concealment of the two assassination attempts on the Republican candidate for the presidency of the United States; the illegal orders of Judge De Moraes and Lula in Brazil for X to cancel accounts and even ban them... By the way, the Amazon no longer worries them, right? You have no shame: I have heard here a socialist MEP say that Twitter is a cancer, when everyone in Europe knows that cancer is socialism. Every day more and more of us see that Orwell wrote his 1984 thinking of Brussels and the College of Commissioners meeting with mega-millionaires to conspire against freedom of opinion, but the banner of freedom of opinion is raised and proudly carried by patriots.
Need to prevent security threats like the Solingen attack through addressing illegal migration and effective return (debate)
Mr President, Commissioner, ten measures to put an end to the Islamist terror of the fake refugees who have been killed in Solingen, Mannheim or Algeciras. First, ask for forgiveness and go home. Second, do not lie: mass, illegal and indiscriminate immigration is neither good nor inevitable, it is a crime and a danger to the survival of Europe. Third, let's send a message to the world. Let's say: Europe will no longer be the paradise of false refugees. No foreigner who enters Europe illegally will ever receive social assistance, a residence permit, asylum or protection. Your protection is our law: If you break our law, you have no protection. Fourth, to combat human trafficking mafias by all means at our disposal, putting an end to slavery. Let's fight with all our means: Let us enter their homes, assault their boats, stop them and put them in jail, and also those NGOs that collaborate by going with large boats paid with public funds to the coasts of the third State to bring them to our ports. Fifth, let's get the biggest deportation plan in history in motion. Sixthly, to suspend aid from third countries which do not control their immigration. Seventh, never grant nationality to anyone who has entered European territory illegally. Eighth, control and immediate closure of Salafist and Wahhabi mosques where anti-Western expressions are promoted. Ninth, let's change the asylum regime. And last and tenth, we demand that all the media indicate the origin and identity of the aggressors on pain of not receiving public subsidy so that Jovenlandia stop being a country. Stop invasion.
Statement by the candidate for President of the Commission (debate)
Madam President, Madam candidate, in your five years, more than 230 000 illegal immigrants have entered Spain. They did not come by chance, but because they are called. The problem has been provoked and accelerated, and its only solution is to spread it throughout Europe so that it is not noticed. In its five years, it has driven and implemented the Green Deal: plunder of workers, money for multinationals and misery for the middle classes. With the excuse of protecting the environment they have executed a plan of mass layoffs, while our field is suffocated and farmers are forced to demonstrate for misery. Last year alone, Brussels gave more than 600 million euros to the Moroccan countryside, which has brought us tomatoes that exceed Spanish exports and 47 health alerts. In your five years, you have put Spain's food security and sovereignty at risk. Finally, he has been complicit in all the abuses of Pedro Sánchez against the freedom of the Spaniards, judicial independence and the rule of law in exchange for his votes in the Council. Even when it comes to corruption and lack of transparency, they look like twin brothers. We do not have a single reason to vote for it, but it is clear that popular, socialist and green will sustain it until the collapse.
Recent attempts to deny dictatorships and the risk of Europe returning to totalitarianism (debate)
Mr. President, there's something we're going to agree on. Indeed, there is a need for a debate on totalitarianism in Europe. In Poland, the Communist People's Coalition detains a former minister alleging a crime pardoned by the courts in 2015, assaults public radio and television stations against the law, and now threatens to jail anyone who does not submit to the interest group. In Spain, Sánchez's socio-communist coalition, coup amnesty, creates parliamentary committees to persecute judges, pacts with narco-dictatorships, supports Hamas terrorism and is enriched with European funds that have taken away companies and the self-employed. And freedom of the press and political freedom are being pursued in Brussels. A reform of the Rules of Procedure of this House has been approved here today, whereby, if Members do not go through the ring of ideological indoctrination, they risk being deprived of their political rights. You guys. Totalitarianism is not a risk; is a totalitarian regime in place. It is called cultural, ideological and personal cancellation. There is an urgent need for a rebellion of common sense, of the popular classes and of the working classes. A rebellion against a totalitarian caste that right now looks at us very nervous. But don't worry. We start changing this on June 10th.
The attack on climate and nature: far right and conservative attempts to destroy the Green Deal and prevent investment in our future (topical debate)
Mr President, Commissioner, you believe that we are like those of the People's Party, who at the first blow back. You should be apologizing for the European Green Deal and setting up a debate to accuse the far right and conservatives of being a risk to the climate and nature. You guys are a meme. Of course we are going to repeal its European Green Deal and, of course, we are going to erase from history its diabolical 2030 Agenda, which is nothing more than a massive layoff plan against European workers, middle classes and companies. Today, this Parliament has approved millions of euros for 2,300 workers who will be made redundant as a result of its policies. They have devastated the primary sector, condemning thousands of farms to closure, conditioning CAP aid, flooding them with bureaucracy, restrictions, prohibitions, and promoting unfair competition from third countries. We did vote against their CAP, we voted against the European Green Deal, we voted against their strategies and the Nature Restoration Act. And, of course, we're going to repeal it. With the 2030 Agenda and the European Green Deal we will... (the Chair took the floor from the speaker).
Madam President, I thank, above all, those who attacked Eurodac. Their attacks are the main proof that we are right and that Eurodac goes to the heart of the problem. Illegal immigration is a business that thousands of people are getting rich from. Please, the Members located on this side (rapporteur points to the left side of the Chamber), read Frontex reports. The latest Frontex report literally says that human smugglers in Mauritania have been cramming cayucos with an increasing number of migrants, putting the lives of people on board in greater danger. Those who endanger people's lives are the traffickers and all those who from Europe call them to come, because these people do not flee persecution. In Africa, the only persecuted are Christians killed by jihadist militias, but they don't pay much attention to you. Look, on the Central Mediterranean route, protected by Italy, illegal immigration has fallen by 60%. On the Balkan route, protected by Hungary, illegal immigration has fallen by 70%. However, at the other two gates of Europe – the Western Mediterranean and the Canary Islands route – it has increased by 50% and 540 % during these two months of 2024. Yesterday all the Members of the Spanish Congress of Deputies – except those of my party – voted in favour of an amnesty for 500 000 illegal immigrants for an extraordinary regularisation. Why not a million? Thousands of illegal immigrants from Islamic countries are now on social media - the Commissioner is sure to know - on Facebook, on Twitter, on all social media, calling for mass entry into Europe via the Spanish route. This is the reality. They are all those entities, associations and subsidized NGOs that have been blocking our emails for weeks in an unbearable campaign, but, if they live on illegal immigration, with what authority do they tell us what we have to vote for? We do not serve lobbies, we serve the voters. Eurodac has been the first stone of these foundations and, in the next legislature, we will raise the pillars of a beautiful building where law, justice and security prevail.
Mr President, Commissioners, I thank the shadow rapporteurs very briefly, in the style that should illuminate political activity: conciseness in words, clarity in ideas and simplicity in their application; Unfortunately, something that is not usual in this house. Thanks, above all, to the assistants of the groups, who are the ones who really work hard. We've made it. The Eurodac reform is about to be voted on: a harmonised, revised, extended database to improve the identification of illegal immigrants and asylum seekers attempting to cross or cross our borders, entering or staying on untitled European territory enabling their presence on our soil. A new database that is no longer built on asylum applications, but on individual registrations, to put an end to the fraud of those who come to several countries asking for international protection or residence permits by rooting, seeking to deceive the national authorities and obtain papers in some Member State. Perhaps that is why many NGOs and associations that cooperate – by act or omission – with human smuggling are so concerned about Eurodac. We have achieved this: a database in which we will record not only fingerprints, but also facial images, travel documents – or their absence – and any incident that constitutes an alert for Europe’s internal security. Eurodac will now include beneficiaries of the different forms of international protection, in order to prevent secondary movements within the European area of those who already have protection in a country and to prevent abuses of protection systems and social security. By including facial images and travel documents, it will facilitate the work of the authorities to identify those who carry false documents or those who try to thwart their identification before the authorities at the border – as is now the case in Spain in a massive way – as there will be a security alert. The lowering of the age for data collection from fourteen to six years will allow a more complete picture of arrivals and, above all, facilitate reunion with parents, with whom minors should be and not in the hands of associations that profit from them in flats or reception centers. The message we send is clear: Our law is to be fulfilled and, if you do not comply with it, we will identify you, persecute you and return you to your place of origin. Eurodac does not solve the problem of illegal immigration, but it is a first step: identify and register. Much remains to be done. How many illegal immigrants enter the Canary Islands today with a history of terrorism or serious crimes in their countries and the European authorities do not know? Cooperation with third countries involves requiring them to dump data from their national criminal records and also to include them in Eurodac for use as grounds for refusal of entry. The following steps will have to be taken in the next legislature: ensure that Morocco, Algeria or Mauritania actively work together to cut off the Canary Islands routes and the western Mediterranean routes and accept, in any case, the returns ordered by our authorities at the border – by all – using all the legitimate means at our disposal, including, of course, the suspension of trade agreements or the payment of development aid. The establishment of European roots should be abolished as an illegitimate and fraudulent way of obtaining residence permits; strengthening border protection; disincentivise the so-called effect by prohibiting in the European area extraordinary regularisations of illegal immigrants; and rewarding states that comply with the expulsion of illegals, not those that fail to comply. Certain mafias and bad neighbors have declared war on us. Their moralistic capitalism is an insult to our intelligence. NGOs and the left give us a moral monserga, but, in reality, they work for predators who will use these illegals as cheap labor, lowering wages and condemning Europeans to unemployment, insecurity and ruin. Most Europeans no longer want such policies. Most Europeans know that we need to turn the tide to protect our security, to protect our jobs and to protect the future of European nations. Eurodac is just the first step.
Allegations of corruption and misuse of EU funds in Spain during the pandemic (topical debate)
Mr. President, the PSOE's criminal history is longer than Abraham's genealogy: robberies, kidnappings, coups d'état, bribery, embezzlement or murder. Apparently, the Popular Party has now discovered it because a plot of political corruption has been found, of overpriced contracts for the ratchet. Have they stumbled? Let the judges act with the full force of law and reason. And the one who took it raw, to prison. But you cannot be here crying out against corruption in the use of European funds while at the same time you have González Pons meeting with Bolaños - the consigliere of donSanchez – secretly agreeing to the government of the judges and, on top of that, accepting a foreign mediator. That is corruption, because it is to agree on the sovereignty of the nation. Millions of Spaniards know that the worst socialist corruption is not that of money. That is judged, condemned, period. Worst corruption is that which is produced by the decomposition of a living body which is the nation. Corrupt is the one who steals, but more the one who lies or betrays the loyalty of a people. Corrupt is to agree with coup plotters and enemies of Spain, the oldest nation in Europe, an amnesty law for impunity for the worst crimes against the nation - rebellion, sedition, terrorism and treason - in exchange for a handful of votes. But it's also being able to stop her in the Senate and not do it. Corruption is to allow thousands of young people of military age to enter illegally into national territory without identifying them and proceed to their immediate deportation, it is to give away Spanish nationality to those who neither deserve it nor respect it, putting in five years half a million immigrants who neither work nor suffer. Corruption is to allow two civil guards to die vilely murdered by drug mafias from Morocco and the next day go to see the capo di tutti i capi, who is the king of Morocco, to say that he is going to give him 45 billion euros. Corruption is sitting down to negotiate with those who have murdered your comrades. Corruption is feeding that business of human trafficking mafias by offering unlimited housing, hotels and resources to illegal immigrants while hundreds of thousands of Spaniards have to decide between going to the supermarket or turning on the light. Corruption is to promote the participation of minors in sexual acts that violate their innocence. Corruption is beating and humiliating farmers and ranchers, destroying thermal power plants and demolishing the nuclear plan or the automobile industry, leading to the unemployment of thousands of Spaniards in exchange for funds without prior budgetary control organized by von der Leyen. Lady Devastation has left no stone upon stone. She's his boss and she's a friend of Sanchez's. It is a scandal what the Socialists have done in Spain, but the vaccines in Brussels are no less so. Everybody shut up. The opposite of corruption is honesty and integrity. And that's only left in Vox.
State of play of the corporate sustainability due diligence directive (debate)
Madam President, I love to see you crying because your devastating due diligence law has been rejected by the Council. I warned you from day one, four years ago. Due diligence is to protect the domestic product. Due diligence is about recovering the principle of Community preference, supporting European workers instead of criminalising them or promoting that women who want to be mothers, without losing their career opportunities, can do so. Only foolishness would prohibit European companies from doing business in countries where there are no gender quotas, while the EU signs agreements with Islamist dictatorships or subsidizes terror tunnels in Gaza. Only a fool would consider piropear to a beautiful woman is a business risk. The risk is that the EU will pay EUR 900 million for renewable energy in Nigeria, while jihadist mafias in Nigeria commit a genocide of Christians. Only a madman would consider European agriculture a risky sector. The risk is to bring strawberries from Morocco with hepatitis A, irrigated with fecal waters, and with billions of euros from our budget. The risk is von der Leyen and his popular and socialist coalition. And due diligence is putting an end to the... (The Chair took the floor from the speaker).
EU climate risk assessment, taking urgent action to improve security and resilience in Europe (debate)
Madam President, Commissioner, do not be angry, but where is Mrs von der Leyen here? For Mrs von der Leyen this is the most urgent thing in the world, but it is not here. Mrs von der Leyen has put the primary sector and European industry at serious risk. There is no one more conservationist than a European farmer. Believe me, I'm with them every week. No one cares for their environment like a European farmer. No one cares for water like a European farmer. No one cares for the air, the mountain or the forests like them. In Spain, a farmer does not leave the tap open a single second more than the bill. Everything they use they take advantage of to the last drop. Farmers and ranchers do not need Mrs von der Leyen to come down from their jet It threatens them with a resilient climate risk assessment or whatever the hell this is called that we're debating. Farmers and ranchers need to be left alone and stop sending money to Morocco and taking all the production there. Five years ago she screamed devastation! and let go of the dogs of war. But we're gonna stop them. The Europeans are going to rescue Europe, they are going to take back control of their lives. And I assure you that we will do everything we can to put an end to it. Lady Devastation.
Financial activities of the European Investment Bank - annual report 2023 (debate)
Mr President, Mrs Calviño, you have gone from joining the nuclear shutdown in Spain, condemning the Spaniards to energy dependence, to saying that you are going to finance nuclear projects now at the EIB. Five years attached to Mr. Sanchez do not pass in vain. In time, we will know all the concessions that Mr. Sanchez has made for you to be in this position. This is the first one for your friend, Mr. Macron. On February 21, Koldo García, a friend of Mr. Sánchez, a former adviser to the Minister of Transport, was arrested when you were Minister of Economy. An alleged – but huge – plot of overpriced public contracts to pay for the classic socialist bite, we are already for 50 million and rising. These funds were then allegedly laundered in Luxembourg and third countries. The President of Congress and the Minister of Democratic Memory are involved. The memory will be for the money and gold of the Bank of Spain that the Socialist Party stole and took to Moscow. And all with European funds, of those that you managed. Something can tell us. Three things I ask you: Turn off the tap to Morocco, bank and fund any profitable projects, freeing the EIB from climate fanaticism, and call Sanchez, as we are, and tell him to leave.
Resumption of the sitting
Madam President, under Rule 195, a matter of compliance with the Rules of Procedure, as there is no provision in our Rules of Procedure governing minutes of silence or acts of respect in this House. Today we listened to Yulia Navalnaya, wife of the opponent killed by Putin's regime, and now we will vote, among others, on the Report on Human Rights and Democracy in the World and the European Union's policy on the matter. But we cannot be biased or sectarian. I would like this Parliament to show interest in the far-left terrorism that claimed a new victim in Spain last Saturday. Sergio Delgado was killed by a group of far-left cowards while enjoying a bachelor party in Burgos with his friends. According to the latest Europol report, of the 16 terrorist attacks that took place on European soil in 2022, 13 were far-left or anarchist, with Basque and Catalan separatist movements being the most violent in Spain. I would also like this Parliament to show interest in the life of Marta, a 16-year-old girl killed by an Algerian in Algemesí, Valencia... (The Chair took the floor from the speaker).
Tackling the inflation in food prices and its social consequences and root causes (debate)
Mr President, Commissioner, it is an insulting joke that, less than 24 hours after voting on the Nature Restoration Regulation, they are organising a debate on how to tackle agricultural price inflation. I'm going to tell you what produces inflation: a field man needs a tax advisor, an administrative manager, an agronomist, a veterinarian and an analytical laboratory to be able to irrigate, mow, sow, raise or slaughter his livestock without being sanctioned or receiving what in justice belongs to him; the ridiculous environmental obligations imposed by those in Brussels who work from 9 to 5 with a stopover to eat; ban phytosanitary products without providing a viable alternative at the same price; suicidal energy policy; relying on third countries for raw materials or fertilisers, remaining in the hands of financial speculation on futures markets; compulsory fallow land; reduce arable land; the gender perspective in the CAP; the razias of the inspectors; Reducing European production or criminalising farmers leads to inflation. Issuing banknotes mansalva to hide that its Green Deal is a plan of mass layoffs produces inflation. You and your bigotry produce inflation, so the solution is clear: evict you in June, repeal the Green Deal, regain national and EU preference, turn off Morocco's tap and seriously control, not farmers, but what enters through Rotterdam or Algeciras.
The fight against hate speech and disinformation: responsibility of social platforms within the Digital Services Act (topical debate)
Mr President, the expression 'hate speech' hides the biggest censorship operation in modern history. Critical race theory, cultural cancellation, historical memory and gender ideology are the four riders of his Woke apocalypse, a horrific dystopia where freedom of speech, thought and opinion are annihilated. Now they use tech giants as instruments of their censorship in exchange for keeping them or allowing them to maintain their business model of plundering our experience, turning it into data and enriching themselves with it. It's so insane they've turned truth into hate. It is hateful to say that Spain liberated the indigenous peoples of America from anthropophagous empires such as the Aztecs or the Incas. It is hateful to recall that 80% of arrests in Barcelona in 2022 and 2023 were of foreign population. It is hateful to claim that demographic substitution is promoted. It is hateful to proclaim the injustice that men who claim to feel like women compete with them in sports competitions, depriving them of the titles they deserve. Biology, history, sociology and anthropology have been hijacked by their ideology, and this brings us to the abyss of the worst dictatorships of thought.
Empowering farmers and rural communities - a dialogue towards sustainable and fairly rewarded EU agriculture (debate)
I just want to say and repeat that I did not vote for the European Green Deal. I did not vote for the Farm to Fork Strategy. I did not vote for the Biodiversity Strategy. I did not vote in favour of trade agreements with those countries which favour the import of third-party products. This is the reality. This is the reality. You voted in favour, you voted in favour, you voted in favour. Now the elections are approaching and now everyone seems to be friends with farmers and ranchers. But it is you who have promoted a globalist agenda, those SDGs, that 2030 Agenda, which what it expressly predicts is precisely to favor the import of third countries ... Empowering farmers and rural communities - a dialogue towards sustainable and fairly rewarded EU agriculture (debate)
Mr. President, you should be asking for forgiveness, but you haven't and you won't. The elites suffer a sick contempt for all manual labor, towards farmers, ranchers, fishermen. It all started on 15 January 2020, the day on which this Parliament, with honourable exceptions, voted in favour of the European Green Deal. You, you and you too. They voted to condemn the primary sector. They voted to promote the mass entry of products imported from third countries. They voted to fund irrigation schemes in Morocco while thirst-killing the Spanish countryside. This is the story and all your money won't be able to change it. Now they dress in lambskin, but they are wolves who assault our farm workers, their activity and their way of life. The European Green Deal is the political and financial tool with which the von der Leyen Commission has imposed the choking agenda on the countryside from Brussels. The European Green Deal is a massive layoff plan for our field and industry, condemning the prosperity of thousands of families and businesses. You already knew this and that is why you created these instruments to buy the will of those who were to be sacrificed: the Just Transition Fund and the Social Climate Fund. But the European camp has risen with a single cry: repeal the Green Deal. (He agreed to answer a question under the "blue card" procedure.)
Water crisis and droughts in the EU as a consequence of the global climate crisis and the need for a sustainable, resilient water strategy for Europe (debate)
Mr President, Europe is on fire for the damage done to the primary sector. The water crisis is what has caused their climate policies: zero investments in storage and pipelines, plus demolition of dams and sluices. In Spain there is enough water to meet the needs of the Spanish people, but we have two obstacles: the obscene spectacle of separatists who have made no investment in water policies – and now weep over the drought – and the climate fanaticism that criminalises farmers in Murcia, Almeria or Huelva, blaming them for the ills of the planet. Taking advantage of the waters of the Guadiana River, in the sixties the Badajoz Plan converted 100,000 hectares of rainfed land into irrigation, increased water reserves and electricity generation, built up to forty new colonization villages and promoted the transformation and export of agricultural products. That's the way: reservoirs, pipelines and hydraulic connections; storing, channelling and flooding our fields with water, creating wealth and fixing population. You want us poor and defeated, although nothing will be the same anymore. Across Europe there is only one cry: repeal the Green Deal and fallow socialist and popular politicians.
Recent ecological catastrophe involving plastic pellet losses and its impact on micro plastic pollution in the maritime and coastal habitats (debate)
Mr President, the beaches of Galicia are affected by a pellet spill. And you're just worried about getting electoral revenue. Socialists are playing to the card of environmental disaster, even though the beaches are national public domain. The popular, playing the trick of a protoseparatism that stimulates in Galicia the detachment to the whole nation. The best thing they could do is retire and save us this embarrassing spectacle, because you don't give a damn about protecting the coastline. They like to talk about the planet and climate change, but the protection of coastal heritage begins locally, on the beach, in rivers, especially in the sanitation of forests. A healthy, patriotic and conservative human ecology. The real catastrophe is not the pellets on the beach, but the destruction of the Spanish fishing sector, especially in Galicia, which popular and socialists have promoted during the last forty years, systematically executing foreign agendas: relocation of production and processing industry to third countries, restrictions on fishing resulting from the extension of exclusive economic zones and abusive EU regulatory measures that have led Galicia and all of Spain from sufficiency to dependency. The effect of their measures has been devastating: reduction of the fishing fleet in European fisheries by more than 25% and fall in catches by more than 21% in just 10 years. Loss of 20,000 jobs since 2004. Destruction of 15% of processing companies, ageing of the population and ageing of the fleet. Meanwhile, imports from non-EU countries have grown by 97% in ten years. From where? From his friends...: from China and Morocco. This is the real catastrophe and everyone covers up their shame. They have destroyed a flourishing sector. And, although we remain the main fishing fleet in all of Europe, it is falling sharply. So less pellets and more vessels.
