The need for a European solution on asylum and migration including search and rescue (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. Commissioner, I'm sorry. Friends and colleagues! The discussion about migration is always full of emotions, especially here in this room, because on the one hand we have people fleeing hunger and poverty, no one to blame, but on the other hand we must also weigh the security of our citizens. This is particularly important in the context of the very aggressive policies of Russia and Turkey, as well as the significant increase in the activity of terrorist organisations, especially those involved in human smuggling. We need to know that they are watching us and will benefit from our naivety. However, opening the borders completely and making it easier for migrants to enter the European Union is a dead end and a naive approach that threatens the security of our Community. But we also have very good actions. That's the alternative. This is the macroeconomic stabilisation of the source countries and the humanitarian and development assistance that we, as the European Union, provide locally in Africa, in the Middle East, in many, many countries. This is a very real help, an alternative to the naïve policy of open borders. And the last sentence: We must not forget the instrumental, cynical exploitation of migrants by the regimes in Moscow and Belarus. And this is happening right now at the border of Poland and the European Union.
Impact of Russian invasion of Ukraine on migration flows to the EU (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. Commissioner, I'm sorry. How much is left of Schuman's Europe, of a Europe of solidarity, of a Europe of respect? The answer to this question must be posed at a time of very brutal war in Ukraine. PLN 9 billion is almost EUR 2.3 billion spent by the Polish government on support and accommodation for Ukrainian refugees residing in Poland. This is the same amount that the European Commission has allocated to support all 27 countries of the European Union. When Poles do everything they can to support a struggling neighbour, bearing the gigantic costs of instability and rising energy prices, there is a game here in the Union. The Commission is blocking the funds due for the RRP, and is in dispute over imaginary self-government. The Kremlin can only rejoice in this attitude. It is bitter and sad, but I want to convey it from many, many Polish citizens. And yet 6 billion euros have been paid to Turkey for hosting more than 3 million refugees. That's 1 billion euros a year. That is why it is not about finances, we are a proud nation, but we want to draw attention to the fact that under ... (The President took the floor)
The urgent need for an EU strategy on fertilisers to ensure food security in Europe (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. Mr. Commissioner, I'm sorry. Unfortunately, Russia still has many tools to attack Ukraine, Europe and the whole world. Today, this debate is very important, because one of these tools is to trigger, consciously and intentionally, a food crisis. It was Russia that blocked the transport of food and grain from Ukraine for months, fuelling the hunger and malnutrition crisis in third countries. What was the purpose of that? Force Europe to make concessions in Ukraine. Today, the war has also caused a gigantic increase in fertiliser prices, which threatens the position of the European Community as a food exporter. 70% of fertilizer production in Europe has been reduced or stopped. The problems in the fertilizer market are critical and require immediate response. Our farmers are waiting for financial support. I therefore think that the European Commission should consider relaxing the rules on state aid so that Community countries can finally help farmers to adapt to the prices of fertilisers on the market. We must do everything we can to halt the decline in crop production in 2023 and ensure food security.
Outcome of the Commission’s review of the 15-point action plan on trade and sustainable development (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. On Monday, there was a very important debate on freedom of religion and the practice of faith. It condemns an important issue of persecution, including of Christians, all over the world. Why am I talking about this? This is because these persecutions occur in countries that are important trading partners of the European Union and with which the European Union has binding trade agreements. Pakistan, Egypt, China, India are countries where today believers do not feel safe. That is why it is time for us to act, it is time to link the clauses protecting persecuted Christians to the trade agreements signed by the European Union. If Egypt or Pakistan cannot meet our simple conditions regarding the protection of believers and places of worship, then they should not count on trade agreements with the European Union. I think it's time to reconsider those rotten compromises. The case of Russia, which the Union has trusted and given up for years, shows how much such compromises may cost us in the future.
Access to water as a human right – the external dimension (debate)
Madam President, I'm sorry. Commissioner, I'm sorry. Water is life and the right to access it is a fundamental human right – and here we fully agree. Water resources are relatively small and fragile. However, due to local shortages, today water is an absolutely strategic raw material. Its shortcomings are the main impetus for subsequent humanitarian crises, as well as a key core element of refugee crises. Nearly two billion people around the world have problems accessing clean water, and in Europe alone, nearly 100 million people are affected. 129 countries around the world are struggling to ensure a sustainable water supply for their people. And all this in the analysis of, among others, the World Bank, indicating an increase in water demand by 50% by 2050. Access to water sources is today a factor of destabilisation and tensions in many countries, especially Africa and the Middle East. We can change this, only by increasing investments in strategic water purification and retention. A stream of investment is needed today – and it is the only solution to the impending water crisis. That is why every euro from the European Union rightly transferred to exploration and water is the right direction. But I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all non-governmental organisations, which in their work take into account the element of access to water, especially the poorest ones. I want to thank them very much for that.
The EU's actions in the field of freedom of religion or belief worldwide (debate)
Thank you very much for this debate. I join the call for the appointment of a new plenipotentiary of the High Envoy for Religious Freedoms. It's important. Persecution for the sake of faith is an important and pressing problem in today's world, but it mainly affects Christians as the largest community of believers. According to independent reports, the persecution of Christ's followers in the past year has reached historical records. One in seven Christians has faced forms of discrimination and persecution. More than 360 million believers in 76 countries have to fear for their fate every day just because of the faith they profess. That is why it is so important for the European Union to verify non-discriminatory clauses, because in this case they must include the right to freely choose and profess religion. And finally, in my homeland, Poland, citizens gathered over 150,000 signatures in support of the change in the law to effectively protect Catholics, churches, as well as followers of other religions. And from this place I want to thank them all very warmly.
Nicaragua, in particular the arrest of the bishop Rolando Álvarez
Madam President, I'm sorry. In my first words, I would like to thank the authors of the resolution very much for having asked for Bishop Roland Álvarez. But this resolution is also a reminder of the fate of many Christians who today are persecuted all over the world. Christians are a religious group that never wants wars. This is a very hardworking, submissive group. It is astonishing that we have so far spoken so little about it in the European Parliament and have waited so long for such a debate in which we condemn the attacks on the Catholic Church, on the faithful and on the clergy, on missionaries. We turn to the case of our brother in faith Bishop Roland Álvarez, Ordinary of the Diocese of Matagalpa in Nicaragua. He was arrested because he stood firm in the name of justice against the tyranny of power and defended the closed Catholic radio station. He defended freedom of speech. Action against him is another element of the fight against the Church and the faithful in Nicaragua. The Ortega regime must bear the consequences of these attacks. And we in the European Parliament must do everything we can to defend the faithful and the right to freely profess the faith around the world. Last word, Madam President, I would like to address to all the faithful in Nicaragua. You are not and will not be alone. With God, it is freedom and victory.
Situation of fundamental rights in the EU in 2020 and 2021 (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. Mr. Commissioner, I'm sorry. This report, unfortunately, has been a list of regrets, half-truths for years. It is completely incomplete. It is formulated by a left-wing majority in the European Parliament. It is cleverly called the state of fundamental rights in the European Union. This is another document to justify billions of euros spent in the European Union on the promotion of the rights of sexual minorities, gender ideology, abortion. In the document itself, the Holy Grail of the European left, or LGBT rights, appears 46 times, and support for abortion - 24 times. And why is there no such topic in this report as the definition of marriage, the question of the right to life? The European Union does not have any Treaty competences. However, the problem of growing anti-Semitism in Germany, France and the Netherlands, the highest in 30 years, has been carefully hidden. No words of condemnation were found for the increasing number of physical attacks on Christian communities and Christian places of worship in Europe. In 2021 alone, 857 attacks were carried out against believers and churches in France. To condemn them, this House lacked courage. There was also no place to describe problems with freedom of speech and freedom of expression in countries such as the Netherlands. I therefore consider this report simply incomplete.
The urgent need for action at EU level to ensure humane treatment of migrants in Europe, including at the borders (debate)
Madam President, I'm sorry. Commissioner, I'm sorry. I am happy to hear the voices in this debate. It is clear that every life is invaluable. Every one of them. I hope you will also remember this during the abortion debate. The discussion about migration is always full of emotions. On the one hand, we have people fleeing hunger and poverty, but on the other hand, we have the security of our citizens. It is also worth remembering that we, as the European Union, must focus on humanitarian aid provided on the ground, because it determines the decision of every migrant whether to stay safe at home or migrate. And this is the key to how to prevent irregular migration. But we must also bear in mind the cynical and instrumental use of migrants by the regimes in Moscow and Belarus as a tool against Europe. The more Europe celebrated, the more Lukashenka’s regime sought to organise illegal migration. Poland warned that it was part of an organized campaign. Despite this, the Kremlin's narrative has been repeated many times in this House, falsely stigmatising member countries, including my beloved homeland, which defended the borders of the European Union against a hybrid attack from the East. No one apologized for that today. And today we know that this was an organized part of the action preceding Russia's direct aggression against Ukraine. Commissioner, Poles have welcomed immigrants from Ukraine into their homes and we have not come to ask for containers, for houses. Today we ask you to simply apologise to Poland and the Poles for all these calumnies.
EU response to the increase in energy prices in Europe (debate)
Madam President, I'm sorry. Europe is facing one of the biggest energy and heating crises in history. The rising prices of electricity, energy, coal and gas are a matter of concern for millions of Europeans, whose individual energy security and the provision of heat for the winter are very seriously threatened. This problem is not only the result of the war in Ukraine. This is primarily the result of rotten agreements with Gazprom leading to the construction of Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2. We have warned, and my political environment has warned here in the European Parliament, against the result of these rotten investments, which deepen Europe's dependence on Russian gas and thus destroy security. Politics based on Russian resentment, ‘green’ ideologies, rather than rational reasons, led to this Armageddon. That is why today, above all, we expect and demand that the ideological blindfold be removed as soon as possible and that one of the most important decisions be taken – to suspend the emissions trading system until the energy markets are stabilised. This is a very simple step that increases the effects in a short time. This is what the people of Europe need today.
The Post-Cotonou Agreement (debate)

The European Union must change the dynamics of its relations with these countries and go beyond traditional development cooperation, based on a partnership of equals. However, I am afraid that some provisions, especially those on migration, may have negative consequences for Europe. The continent is currently facing a migration crisis and cannot afford to continue to tolerate irregular migration from third countries. It should also be noted that we have a war in Ukraine, which will also trigger migration movements. Furthermore, the draft post-Cotonou agreement is incompatible with the Treaty on European Union, the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union or the Charter of Fundamental Rights in so far as it replaces the principle of equality between women and men enshrined in those Treaties, which is self-evident, by using the non-Treaty expression ‘gender equality’. Instead of imposing this ideology on the countries of Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific, we should focus on cooperation with this region, which has enormous potential for development, including in the agri-food sector, infrastructure construction and health care.

Ladies and Gentlemen, First of all, I would like to thank very much for the contribution to the debate all the speakers, all the rapporteurs, all those who took the floor today and, above all, made valuable contributions and conclusions to our debate. Commissioner, thank you for the information on the statistics, but above all for the fact that work is underway on alternative routes to cereals and the unblocking of ports – this is important information. Above the divisions, you draw attention to what is important in this report, i.e. multilateral action. There was also good attention to the organisation of a summit on food security, support for food sovereignty, strengthening resilience, the right to food as a human right. This is indeed the foundation on which we should pay attention. Finally, the issue of curbing speculation and access to water. I would very much like our vote tomorrow to send a clear signal to Putin that he will not export hunger to the whole world, so that we express this in the vote in the European Parliament. Once again, I thank everyone for their hard work and, above all, I thank the DEVE Committee, the AGRI Committee, all the collaborators, all the advisers and, today, the speakers for seeing, above all divisions, a very serious problem that we will probably still have to deal with here in a very professional way. Addressing food security in developing countries (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. Mr. Commissioner, I'm sorry. Ladies and Gentlemen, In the first words, I would like to thank the shadow rapporteurs and all those involved in the preparation of this report, including all those in the secretariat, the advisers, for their very fruitful cooperation and for drawing up an extremely important document today. The report on food security in developing countries has become particularly important in recent months following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. We are facing huge challenges in terms of food security. Moreover, with the consequences of the crisis in Ukraine, we are faced with a scenario in which the poor and vulnerable will again suffer the most. Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified war of aggression against Ukraine has further destabilised the already volatile situation on agricultural markets and aggravated the already severe situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and put additional pressure on ongoing food crises and global food security, pushing international food and feed prices well above their already high levels. The number of people in need of urgent food assistance is constantly increasing. The poorest people in the most unstable countries cannot cope on their own. Only today are statistics given. A billion 700 million people in 107 countries around the world may be affected by hunger, which may be the result of the war in Ukraine. The famine that Russia and Putin are exporting to the whole world today. Even before the war, 45 million children under the age of five were affected by severe malnutrition. These are the data we include in our report. Our report is designed to respond to the challenges we face. With this report, I hope that the European Union will maintain its leadership role in financial support for the fight against hunger by prioritising food security in its development and humanitarian programmes. By setting out orientations to eradicate poverty and inequality, this report aims to help developing countries build their resilience to crises. Today, conflicts are the most common cause of food insecurity. This is why it is so important to highlight in the report the link between humanitarian aid and development aid and peacebuilding in order to manage and mitigate the impact of the crisis. The European Union should implement a more coordinated approach to tackling all forms of malnutrition by integrating the humanitarian objective of saving lives in crisis situations with a long-term focus on preventing all forms of malnutrition. It is essential to promote better access to markets and secure land tenure for small farmers and women, as well as to increase their access to technology and innovation, which is also duly reflected in the report. Increasing the income of small farmers and employment in rural areas is important to fight poverty and strengthen the resilience of these communities. We must bear in mind that the investments and interventions of the European Union should be based on a thorough, preliminary assessment in order to develop fair actions to strengthen local capacities, including those of non-state authorities. EU policies to improve food security should be tailored to local needs and take into account the diversity of food systems worldwide. I would also like to point out that food waste is part of global food insecurity and malnutrition. The European Union should step up its efforts to reduce food losses and waste. Malnutrition in our time is an unacceptable shame. The European Union has the means and capacity to meet the current challenges... (The President took the floor)
Implementation and delivery of the Sustainable Development Goals (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. Commissioner, thank you very much. The report on the implementation of the SDGs by the European Union adopted by the ENVI and DEVE Committees rightly draws attention to the negative impact of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine on the implementation of the SDGs. Above all, we will not achieve the SDGs without global stability – political and economic stability. Unemployment, inequality, poverty, hunger are a combination that in many parts of the world leads to conflicts, which puts us back on the path to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The pandemic and the war in Ukraine have greatly destabilised the already difficult situation in the world. In the face of increasing needs, the resources allocated to official development assistance are already proving to be too small. A socio-institutional partnership for the implementation of the SDGs is needed. We must focus on cooperation, partnership, co-responsibility of public, private entities, NGOs and citizens for the development processes.
The call for a Convention for the revision of the Treaties (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. In order to improve the decision-making process in the European Union, it is not necessary to turn the stick of the Rhine, it is enough to debureaucratise the Union and it is enough that we simply respect each other in this Union, because the Union was created as a community of strong, sovereign and independent states. This diversity has always been its strength for years. Respect for national traditions, legislation, laws, customs and a common foundation based on Roman law, the right to life, and Christian ethics. It was the foundation of the European Union, it was its strength. That was Schuman's main thought that you want to refute today. Unfortunately, in recent years, the European Union has become a soulless bureaucratic Leviathan who is focused on the pursuit of those member states that think differently from liberals than the Greens, than the Left combined. There is a spirit of disrespect for the internal decisions made by the forming states, systematic attacks against governments that do not agree with the chief engineer of the treaty change take place here. That is why we say no to such changes. Systemic reforms should be a return to the roots, to the common values of nations and states. A firm ‘no’ to federalisation and to the non-treaty strengthening of institutions. By contrast, a ‘yes’ to strong Member States and clearly defined competences and institutions of the European Union in the Treaties.
Global threats to abortion rights: the possible overturn of abortion rights in the US by the Supreme Court (debate)
Madam President, I'm sorry. We are so biologically different. I am a woman, you are a man and everything is OK. We are also talking about equality. Mr Biedroń, such a militant feminist, has just sent us to hell. So here I warn you, but I will tell you one thing before I came to this big policy, I humbly worked very hard in such environments where women had to make such a decision. And I am very happy that there are many women who, thanks to finding a helping hand, today their children are in the world – and they are happy about it. Do you know what they say? Today I would be looking for this third, fourth or tenth child if I did. And that is why I will always, always give you a hand, and I also advise you to do so. And even if it is adoption, many families are waiting for children.
Global threats to abortion rights: the possible overturn of abortion rights in the US by the Supreme Court (debate)
Madam President, I'm sorry. Today we are really dealing with a very sad debate, which proves one thing: that there is a clash between the civilization of life and the civilization of death. This room proves it today. This was said before one of the first speeches, i.e. that the President of France wishes the right to abortion to be included in the Charter of Fundamental Rights, and brave pro-life environments, including myself, we wish the Charter of Fundamental Rights to include the right to the protection of life from conception to natural death, the right to the protection of unborn children. Procreative health, reproductive health are really beautiful slogans, but this is an ideological envelope. Behind this envelope lies despair, sadness, often depression. Women after abortion are left alone, most often alone with a powerful psychological problem. I'm done, Madam President. The European Union talks a lot about freedom, about human rights, about women's rights. And when will he be on the side of innocent children? It was said that the European Union must win this fight, and for now it is losing because it is simply being depopulated – and that is the truth. The rule of law and the potential approval of the Polish national Recovery Plan (RRF) (debate)

I just want to say, Mrs MEP, that by a majority that does not want to listen to arguments, it is really possible to accept everything and pass a hundred more resolutions. Mrs. MEP, who just said that we are the new mini-Russia, I want to remind you, however, to do some history lessons, we were occupied by Russia for almost 50 years and we were murdered by Polish elites and we ask you to be careful here with such words. And I want to say that you unfortunately succumb to the Polish opposition, which, as we saw today in Mr. Kohut's words, is very frustrated, helpless, unable to win the next elections, loses the presidential, parliamentary, European, and now begs you not to give Poles money. We know that even if we fulfilled a million milestones, it is because we are a conservative government that you will punish Poles for voting for a government of values, for wanting such a Poland, and you do not want to respect democratic choice and give these funds. The last sentence, Madam President, to the Polish opposition. I think that the people in the next elections will answer you for the fact that here you are misrepresenting our country.
Commission’s 2021 Rule of Law Report (debate)
Madam President, I'm sorry. Ladies and Gentlemen, The European Union is an agreement of sovereign and independent states which have transferred competences explicitly set out in the Treaties to the community. Unfortunately, over time, unelected officials without any democratic mandate granted themselves the right to decide for themselves which competences the community has and which belong to a Member State. This is how the rule of law was born. Internal reforms and the political structure of the state have never been submitted to the EU institutions for assessment. The Commission's Rule of Law Report is not anchored in the Treaties. It is biased, unilateral and is used to attack Member States, e.g. by repeating fake news (e.g. about the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border) or reports of the Council of Europe, in which Russia was a member only a few months ago. Ladies and gentlemen, this report gives confidence to Russian propaganda and disinformation about what was happening at the border. This is a scandal. On the one hand, the Commission uses this report to attack Poland for reforms in the judiciary and the dismantling of the caste system of judiciary, and on the other hand, the report could not condemn France for violating the embargo and supplying arms to Russia, or the Netherlands for violating the right of assembly and dispersing demonstrations, or finally Germany for growing anti-Semitism, as even EU agencies warn in their reports. Why is that so? I'm done here. Because Poland says no to a federalist vision of Europe. None of your actions will change our attitude, because Poles have national sovereignty in their hearts and freedom in their blood.
Building of a wall on the Polish – Belarus border in the Białowieża primeval forest (debate)

Russian agents posed as activist journalists to fuel tensions over the crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border. According to Facebook, these fictional people posted content criticizing Poland in English, Polish, Kurdish, including photos and videos of Polish border guards allegedly violating migrants' rights. Mr. Biedroń, Mrs. Thun, Mrs. Spurek, do you really not know what Russian propaganda is? Why are you swallowing it like a carp? Just to get through desperately. Russia’s brutal attack on Ukraine made everyone aware and showed how crucial it is to adequately secure the European Union’s border against possible attempts at destabilisation. Let's be aware of that. Commissioner, I'm sorry. Today we should not debate about the wall, because it is obvious. There is no alternative, no boundaries. I'm sure the Polish government will respond. Today we need help for Ukrainian refugees who are in Poland.
Use of the Pegasus Software by EU Member States against individuals including MEPs and the violation of fundamental rights (topical debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. Mr. Commissioner, I'm sorry. I have such an irresistible impression that very serious people, including MEPs, Commissioners and everyone else who works in the European institutions, are very easily drawn in: a) either in the struggle of corporations, b) or in the internal struggle of countries where the opposition is fighting against the government. Because whether it's going to be called Pegasus or it's going to be called some other XY device, you have to know that every country will have that. Let us not be naive, because a country, whatever it may be, must have better devices than terrorists, must have better devices than criminals, must have better devices than organized criminal groups. The thing about guarantees. And indeed there are those cases that Mr. Halicki, Mr. Tarczyński or Mrs. Róża Thun invoked here. Ask if there were court approvals, because then they would just have to apologize here. The issue is in the guarantees. Therefore, I would also like to say clearly and explicitly to Mr López Aguilar: Why aren't you talking about Spain? Why don't you talk about Spain, about Greece, you don't talk about the Netherlands, you don't talk about other countries? 102 countries reportedly have this device. First and foremost, the guarantees. And in fact, do not be hypocrites, do not let yourself be maneuvered simply into a brutal internal political struggle.
Ongoing hearings under Article 7(1) TEU regarding Poland and Hungary (debate)

Europe and the entire European project were built on the ruins of World War II. What's the point? So that there would be no more war. Between 2015 and 2020, European Union countries issued more than a thousand licenses for the export of military equipment to Russia worth about 346 million euros. Today is a gift for Putin. This debate and these licenses and other arms deliveries are a gift to Putin. Today, here, the European left, especially through the mouth of a German MEP, is shouting to Poland in German that it needs to be even sharper. The Germans have already organized Poland for us once! We are a proud nation and we will not succumb to the Eurodict. We won the election eight times in a row and you don't like it! That's what Mr Halicki said today, and that's what MEP Pons also said. Why is this action? To overthrow the conservative government in Poland, the government of values. If you shout ‘Do not give Poland the means!’, it means ‘do not give Polish society’, which today has opened wide the door for Ukraine and for the people of Ukraine fleeing the conflagration of the war. EU Protection of children and young people fleeing the war against Ukraine (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. Thank you, Commissioner! Ukrainian children and women will not be safe as long as Putin receives petrodollars. Let's be clear here that no discussion can stop Putin unless there are very concrete actions. I absolutely agree with what Mr Rzońca said that, at the moment, only the trial of criminals is such an element. Putin cannot be safe in what he does. Poland – the Polish public prosecutor’s office – already collects testimonies from the victims of the war, especially children. They are mutilated, mutilated by Putin and his gang from what is most important, that is from childhood. They no longer have a dowry for adult life. And that's why I want to say that in my homeland at the moment 1,222 children are in hospitals. We brought a lot of handicapped children. Children who could not be taken to the shelter. They are safe today, they have rehabilitation in Poland. We also help in Ukraine. I was now, this weekend, in Lviv and the surrounding area, and help is being brought there. And the children ask for one thing: They ask you to neutralize Putin, and they thank you all for your help, everyone, Poland and all other countries. Thank you for dropping it here too. Let's thank these communities. And one last thing, Mr President. It's very important. For example, the request of Ukrainian doctors from the last minute: 420 women and children from Bucha and Irpień who have been sexually abused ask for help in evacuation and rehabilitation abroad. We Poles from our own fund, from our own budget and also from family budgets – almost every Pole helps today – but it is important that we do it together, because without the funds of the European Union we will not be able to help simply very effectively, especially children - victims of the war. EU Protection of children and young people fleeing the war against Ukraine (debate)

I would like to ask President López Aguilar about his statement and concern, for which I thank him, but I would nevertheless like to say that children are registered in Poland. First of all, they have the right to education and already participate in education. Those that have been reported by parents are already in school. Approximately 1,222 children are also in Polish hospitals. It's all happening. And only that at the moment we do it with the funds of Polish citizens, the Polish budget, the Polish government. Is it true that you wrote a letter to take away so much needed funds from the Polish government and the Polish state today? And will you, Mr López Aguilar, simply withdraw from this letter of appeal to the European Commission? We all need resources today to support refugees first and foremost. And I hope that happens.
