Before I give the floor to the next speaker, I would just like to remind the House of the rules. You know that when you are speaking you cannot wear messages. The floor is yours, but I am just reminding you for next time.

The next item is the debate on the report by Maria Noichl, on behalf of the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality, on regulating prostitution in the EU: its cross-border implications and impact on gender equality and women’s rights (2022/2139(INI)) (A9-0240/2023).

Madam President, Madam President of the Commission, Your speech had a lot of ambitious accents, which, of course, should be in such speeches. But we know that people believe in works, and there are works that have been done well, for example, on overcoming last winter's energy crisis, on how to support Ukraine politically and financially. There is also a good commitment in today's speech to step up the fight against human smuggling crime or to welcome Ukraine to the European Union without convening a Convention or amending the treaties of the European Union for a long time. But in your speech, Madam President, there was no word about military capacity in Europe, which is far behind our transatlantic partners, and this is certainly seen by Ukrainians and also by the citizens of Eastern Europe who live next to the aggressor. Citizens also see what is happening in the context of global change and geopolitically important parties. It is of the utmost importance to maintain all maximum cooperation with our global Western partners. And that would, in my opinion, be a more important message to security at the end of the speech than a call to think big. And in other words, actually say "Let's make Europe great again!". I think the accents could have been better.

The next item is one-minute speeches on matters of political importance (Rule 172). I would like to inform you that during a one-minute speech you are invited to speak from your place. Before moving on to this point and giving the floor to the first rapporteur, I forgot to say that the vote on the previous issue will take place tomorrow, as will the vote on a number of previously debated reports.

The next item is the debate on the report by Marion Walsmann, on behalf of the Committee on Legal Affairs, on the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on geographical indication protection for craft and industrial products and amending Regulations (EU) 2017/1001 and (EU) 2019/1753 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Council Decision (EU) 2019/1754 (COM(2022)0174 - C9-0148/2022 - 2022/0115(COD)) (A9-0049/2023).

The next item is the debate on the report by Kateřina Konečná, on behalf of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection, on the proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on consumer credits (COM(2021)0347 - C9-0244/2021 - 2021/0171(COD)) (A9-0212/2022).
