Rising antisemitism in Europe (debate)
Madam President, do you know what anti-Semitism is? That in Madrid a mob whipped up by the socialist government and its televisions attack a cycling race because Jews participate, that in Barcelona houses of Jews are marked by the left -for that left there that is linked with this right here-, that the houses of the Jews are marked with the slogan "From the river to the sea". That's anti-Semitism. In reality, the campaign of hatred of Israel has become a massive anti-Semitism. The hatred of Israel here is the hatred of the nation. It is hatred of the nation that defends itself. Because Israel is the example of the self-defense of the nation, the people, their identity and their sovereignty. You want to wipe out the nations. You, the left and its allies. And they have now allied themselves with the anti-Semitism they have massively imported from Islamism, which is as much an enemy of us as it is of Israel. And they make executioners, victims, and victims, executioners. But Israel will survive them all: Sanchez, Macron and Thunberg. And in the European nations the example of Israel's self-defense already sets. We Patriots are the proof. And anti-Semitism here is going to lose - all that anti-Semitism like the one on the street - because they will be deported.
Need for a strong European Democracy Shield to enhance democracy, protect the EU from foreign interference and hybrid threats, and protect electoral processes in the EU (debate)
Madam President, George Orwell would be stunned... you surpass everything imagined in hypocrisy, euphemisms and manipulations of a totalitarian regime. They talk about protecting democracy, when they only want to protect their privileges and their failed path in the face of the democratic will, which is growing every day in the face of its dwindling majority, increasingly smaller and increasingly frightened. That's why they want censorship and censorship and to impose their narrative. Are you telling us that you want to promote independent press, paying for it, like the NGOs that you pay to release your narrative around? Alleged NGOs that are in your pay and are subsidized by the public money of all Europeans to keep the mouths of Europeans in general quiet. The weaker you are, the more undemocratic methods you are willing to use. You do not want a democratic shield, but a bunker for your threatened despotic power and a cage for the Europeans, who every day have more information and every day know better than you deceive them.
State of the Union (debate)
Madam President, Mrs von der Leyen, you have been putting forward plans for six years and spending hundreds of billions of dollars that you take from Europeans. The result? Europe is weaker, poorer, more insecure, more ineffective, more vulnerable and much less free. You failed in three ministries in Germany and here you have already reached the height of your failure. It only causes problems: for his arrogance, for his inability, for his lack of transparency, to put it mildly, for his threats to all dissent, as he has done today, announcing, in addition, independent media with money from the Commission, the whole propaganda apparatus that he has to hide the subsidies that NGOs receive for all this ideological propaganda. We are sunk by the slab of the European Green Deal, we are destroyed by the Muslim invasion that Mrs Merkel launched and that is still here, continues and that will make us, at some point, have to fight as Israel is fighting. Hopefully – despite all their slander against Israel – we Europeans will find the courage and determination to defend our civilization and our society as Israel is doing.
Situation in the Middle East (debate)
Madam President, I love socialists evoking Churchill... Now I'm going to tell you. I don't know if you already know that Prime Minister Netanyahu has proposed Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize; A prize that should have been given to him already in his first term for Abraham's Agreements that changed the Middle East already then and that warned of what the path of authentic peace and the possibilities of stability in the Middle East was going to be. They didn't, of course, give it to Trump out of ideology; By ideology they had given it preemptively to Obama, who sowed the whole world of wars with his weakness and his progressivism. Moreover, I propose that, together with Donald Trump, they give Israel the Nobel Prize, because Israel has changed the Middle East – it is changing the Middle East – to resist evil, to break the axis of evil, and has ended it. Hizbullah no longer exists today. There is no Assad today. Today Iran's great terrorist ties around the world are weakened, even though Iran is still there and has not yet fallen. But the Middle East has prospects for peace when they realize that Israel is there to stay, and a giant step has been taken for that. Israel is defending us, the entire West, and Israel, which gives the lives of its children, its soldiers, in a cruel war, deserves this recognition.
Preparation for the 2025 EU–China Summit - Tackling China's critical raw materials export restrictions
Madam President, of the very little good that the European Union did in the last legislature was to warn of the grave danger posed by the dependence and strategic weakness that Europe had created vis-à-vis China in the past five years: The report on China was the framework for that radical turnaround proposal to mitigate dependencies and risks. In this parliamentary term, the European Commission and its main partners seem to want to get back on track a little bit. If I still believed the President of the Commission in something, I would be happy here, because I see her taking a number of distances, but it is certainly not the case that I am going to trust myself at this point. The animosity, the hatred towards President Trump, who blinds so many here in the delusional idea of turning his back on the United States to replace it with China – which is typical of communist dictatorships or tyrannies such as Brazil or South Africa – is also being seen and felt in these environments. And, as we know the corrupting capacity of the Chinese regime, special care must be taken with the purchase of wills. China is always a threat: in the totalitarian essence of his regime is the will to impose itself and phagocytize us as it does with countries on other continents. Recent incidents have alarmed us once again: Chinese diplomats dare to threaten and intimidate MEPs in this house, because they do not like human rights and freedom to be defended in China, Taiwan or any other corner of the world. China must know that we want sober and correct relations in reciprocity and that it is going to end that they do here what they want and we can not do anything there.
Commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide
Madam President, 30 years ago in Srebrenica there was the greatest massacre in Europe since the Second World War. Serbian forces, in a war, gathered all adults, children and adolescents of another belief, of Muslim belief, in the Bosnian community, in the village of Srebrenica. They drove away the women, opened pits and began killing, as was only remembered from the German special units when they were in Poland and the East. The population of Srebrenica was officially protected by the United Nations. We know the result: the war ended much later thanks to an intervention by the United States, let's remember, not Europe: Europe failed miserably then. Then there was a court, which worked that time, and there were a number of convicts, who for the first time paid. But, let us know that, now that the term "genocide" is used in such a vile and utterly inappropriate way, genocides are possible in Europe: They are and have always been. And, of course, it is Europe that has that message: It has to fight always, not with goodism, but with firmness.
Safeguarding the rule of law in Spain, ensuring an independent and autonomous prosecutor's office to fight crime and corruption (debate)
Mr President, I very much agree with the People's Party that we have here the representatives of a criminal organisation and a criminal government. Definitely. But you voted everything with them today, including to make the umpteenth harassment of Hungary with the resolution on the Commission's rule of law report. Spain as a whole has heard from the three closest collaborators of the head of Government Sánchez how they talk about their robberies, bribes, illegal commissions and prostitutes employed in public companies. It is the underworld, with the Sanchez family, that is adding cases of corruption, one after another. And more recordings arrive – more have arrived today – involving more ministers. So this just started. It is already evident that the PSOE is a criminal organization that has kidnapped the Government of Spain. Sanchez and his environment are like the dictator Maduro: Only power prevents them from going to prison. Therefore, from now on they will be able to do everything. Sanchez has kidnapped the prosecutor's office, the lawyer's office, corrupted the media, persecuted journalists, judges and prosecutors. Thanks to the Popular Party, Sánchez controls the Constitutional Court to amnesty his own criminals and allies. The rule of law in Spain, already in ruins, hangs by a thread. The Bolaños law against judicial independence may be the end, the coup d'état. And all of you and von der Leyen have continued to make the alliance there, with the whole left, against the will expressed in the elections.
Freedom of assembly in Hungary and the need for the Commission to act (debate)
Madam President, Hungary is probably one of the safest countries in Europe for homosexuals. It is one of the countries where there are no beatings, such as the beatings that occur in France, that occur in Spain, that occur in Germany, that occur in many places where the police recommend that there be no signs of affection among homosexuals because something may happen to them before that immigration that has made the neighborhoods unlivable and Islamist Muslim neighborhoods. That is not a problem in Hungary – that there are homosexuals, that they have their spaces, and so on. The problem is when you – and that is why the left in Europe is going to disappear sooner rather than later – are looking for elements of marginalisation in order to elevate them to the social canon of cultural Europe, and that is intolerable for any country that wants to have healthy growth and that wants to have a balanced education and children.
The Hungarian government's drift to Russia-style repression: legislative threats to freedom of expression and democratic participation (debate)
Mr. President, you happen to be upset and scandalized by transparency, for God's sake. It is true that, seeing what happens with Pfizer, with Mrs. von der Leyen, with Huawei, with Qatar and with so many things, it is possible that many of the things go around. Now, there is a scandal about the willingness of the waning majority in this Parliament to interfere in Hungary: People, socialists, communists and greens, who are the same and vote the same. With foreign money, they try to overthrow the only really conservative and sovereign government in Europe, as they did in Poland two years ago. To end Hungary's sovereignty, its favorite weapon is NGOs. Masses of European public money go to Hungarian NGOs, which are not Hungarian, but are directed and financed from Berlin, Brussels, Paris or the United States. Millions were injected into NGOs in the 2022 elections and it was useless. And now, with a popular socialist puppet like Donald Tusk, who is Péter Magyar, they believe that by infesting NGOs with money they will have an obedient boy in Budapest. The Hungarian government wants transparency in NGOs because it wants the fate of Hungary to be decided by the Hungarians. And I very much agree with that.
The EU's response to the Israeli government's plan to seize the Gaza Strip, ensuring effective humanitarian support and the liberation of hostages (debate)
Madam President, I hope you will be as generous with me over time as with this lady. Less hypocrisy, because what we're seeing is what they want: an Israel that cannot be defended. That's what they're looking for. This Parliament will today play bottom in its moral drift with a debate that is not going to be about Gaza but against Israel, of course. There they have Macron and Starmer arguing with Pedro Sanchez for the position of best ally of the terrorists, the Islamists of Hamas, who are the only genocidal ones. It is the reflection of a hypocritical Europe whose freedom eighty years ago began after the deaths of men, women and children in a razed Germany, because it was necessary. Then, as now, crime had to be removed from its lair, the heart of evil, which is Hamas. They've had time. They could have made the pressures on Hamas that they are now making on Israel, because it would have handed over the hostages, the tunnels and the weapons, and Gaza would not be as it is at the moment. This European assault in favor of Islamist terrorism against the only democracy that is there and that defends itself is all based on data that are all from Hamas. The data, the images, etc., are all from Hamas. You're doing the terrorist narrative here. It's an embarrassment.
Violations of religious freedom in Tibet (RC-B10-0248/2025, B10-0248/2025, B10-0251/2025, B10-0253/2025, B10-0254/2025, B10-0256/2025, B10-0259/2025) (vote)
Mr President, thank you. It would be as follows: 'Is deeply concerned about the increasing levels of attacks, coercion, discrimination, harassment, violence and repression against religious freedom as a global phenomenon under CCP rule in Tibet; in particular, condemns in the strongest possible terms the persecution against Christians, the most persecuted religious group in the world.'
80 years after the end of World War II - freedom, democracy and security as the heritage of Europe (debate)
Mr President, eighty years ago the military defeat of German National Socialism closed one of the most monstrous pages in the history of humanity, generated, remember, in Europe and by Europe. It was the nation of poets and thinkers that caused the industrialized genocide that was the Holocaust of the Jewish people and the burning of the entire continent. It was the arrogance of totalitarian idealism that prioritized human utopia over the sacredness of life until it fell into the black hole of total crime. They were going to the ideal world. ‘Am deutschen Wesen soll die Welt genesen’: German essence will heal the world. It resonates disturbingly in the arrogance of those who today marginalize the dissenting. That war killed sixty million people. Nazism succumbed in twelve years, but communism remained, the other redemptive ideology in pursuit of the ideal that only generates hell. Communism murdered more than a hundred million, it is still alive and present today and it is also here in this room. Because on May 8, one part of Europe was liberated, but, in the other, only one tyranny was exchanged for the other. Communism was transformed and, if in Russia we have an aggressor and criminal oligarchy, today in the West we have it disguised as social engineering, collectivist egalitarianism, socialism that pursues the same ends. In honor of so many millions of victims, we defend freedom and truth, the supreme weapons against redemptive, totalitarian and always criminal ideologies.
An urgent assessment of the applicability of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement (PDCA) with Cuba (debate)
Madam President, Madam High Representative, I really don't know who wrote you the paper on Cuba, but it is certainly embarrassing to hear it after what is happening. The European Union, whose leaders always fill their mouths with moral superiority and lessons from the rest of the world, has many corpses in its closet, but few infamies are greater than those committed by the European Union against the people of Cuba, who have suffered a relentless communist dictatorship for sixty-five years. The complicity of European democracies with this bestial tyranny is one of the most sinister and shameful chapters of foreign policy. And it looks like they want to continue it. It seems that they want to continue as Mr. Borrell, who acted more as ambassador of Cuba than as representative of twenty-seven democracies. The so-called EU-Cuba Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement is part of that disgrace. To our shame, it was two presidents of the Government of Spain – Zapatero and Rajoy, a socialist and a popular – who orchestrated and allowed this Agreement, which is nothing more than a financing pact for a criminal communist dictatorship in exchange for nothing, for absolutely nothing. That has been the Spanish bipartisanship, friend of the longest and most ruthless dictatorship in Hispanic America. The European Union has financed and continues to finance the privileges of the communist mafia, as well as the brutal repression that has left a record of tens of thousands of murdered, thousands of political prisoners and tortured. Enough of this infamy, we suspend this agreement, as this Parliament decided five years ago.
Safeguarding the access to democratic media, such as Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (debate)
Mr. President, I remember when the Socialists still called Radio Free Europe and the Voice of America provocation. Trump's arrival at the White House has not pleased either the Commission or the dwindling majority in this Parliament. Their way of ending the abuse of public money to make ideological propaganda they like much less. And now they intend to use European public money to continue making propaganda Woke, in which the United States spent billions since Obama's nefarious time. I knew the greatness of Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty and the Voice of America when I was a correspondent behind the Iron Curtain. Large stations to combat communism, but not to promote it, not to spread anti-national propaganda of gender ideology and other toxic products of progressivism, socialism and communism. The European Union does not have to finance media that it calls independent when they are an immense propaganda apparatus to spread the nefarious ideology of irrational progressivism and defend the interests of that decadent majority that has been bunkerized in the European Union against the interests of European citizens and nations.
Human rights and democracy in the world and the European Union’s policy on the matter – annual report 2024 (debate)
Madam President, Madam High Representative, once again the report on human rights, which is already a sarcasm today. Let's see, what lessons are we going to give of human rights now, to the world when governments and the Commission are already systematically strangling freedom of expression, when they censor and impose cordons of harassment on democratic parties that denounce the failure of their policy that makes us increasingly poorer and less free, when they congratulate themselves on disabling the favorites of the elections as disabling in Venezuela but now in Bucharest and Paris - and who knows where the next one will be - when they finance the criminal dictatorship of Cuba, when they pay NGOs that traffic in illegals and destroy European security, when the embassies of the European Union have supported narco-communist candidates in Ibero-America who today have hundreds of political prisoners? Mrs Kallas, how many times have you spoken about the political prisoners of Ibero-America? How many times in the last six months have you talked, for example, about Jeanine Áñez in Bolivia, who did a work on union in the European Union? And we have no reaction from you. We have lost all the credibility of the European Union and we will not recover it.
Frozen Russian assets (debate)
Mr. President, the criminal Russian invasion of Ukraine has caused colossal devastation throughout the assaulted country. Ukraine is going to need massive plans and a titanic investment effort. It is logical that many countries want the deposits of the aggressor, of Russia, to be used to compensate the aggressor, which is Ukraine. By the end of 2023, some $335 billion in Russian deposits had been frozen in the West, in addition to the interest that has been generated and spent on different issues. To devote them to these reconstruction purposes, all these frozen funds would have to be confiscated. There are countries that oppose this. The entire international context in which this dilemma is considered has changed radically in two months. With a ceasefire in sight and complex negotiations that will include countless factors, it is to be suspected that deposits will automatically enter, to a large extent, into negotiation. The priority now is to end the war and in this field too much of the yearning for justice is going to fall by the wayside. But there is a clear need for some form of compensation – including those deposits – to be on the table for an aggression that we know will never be punished as it deserves.
Deteriorating situation in Gaza following the non-extension of the ceasefire (debate)
Madam President, fortunately, Israel has a society with an instinct and a will to survive far superior to today's Europeans. If some Israelis had forgotten, the Hamas savages of October 7 refreshed them. And Hamas, that's clear, will once again be that huge terrorist base that it was and that, in a way, it still is. That is why the Arab population of Gaza should have understood that their only chance of continuing to live there is to get rid of Hamas, overcome its hating victimhood and accept that Israel exists forever. Abraham's agreements with his neighboring Arab brothers should have warned them. But as Gaza, and not just Gaza, got used to living on foreign money and Europe, the United States and others have paid Gazans to be eternal refugees and hate and want to murder Jews, they have continued to embrace terrorism, something that has been seen again in the hostage swaps: They don't seem to have learned. Gaza has to be cleansed of terrorists and it has been seen in these months that it is still far from it. It would be in everyone's interest for the people of Gaza to collaborate, to release all the hostages and to hand over the tunnels, all the weapons and those irony uniforms that have been used in these propaganda parades when they have released – humiliating – the hostages. If they don't, Israeli forces will. If the Arab neighbours – Jordan and Egypt – were to welcome the Gazans, as Ukraine’s neighbours welcomed the Ukrainians, it would be easier to do this whole process, but let’s see what’s available. In any case, the terrorist base cannot survive.
US withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, the World Health Organisation and the suspension of US development and humanitarian aid (debate)
Madam President, well, well, well... How much hate —hate speech, It's said up there, how much I hate and how much fear of Trump I see around here. And all because he fulfills what he promised. Trump abandons the multilateral forums that socialist globalism - which they share here from the People's Party to the far left - has turned into ideological agencies for their social engineering, their gags and their totalitarian projects: the Paris Agreement, the WHO... Trump abandons them because it is already okay for Western democracies to fund their foes and crazy totalitarian projects. Trump also does something else, auditing how much money these socialist projects have stolen from the taxpayer, and has discovered that the money destined for humanitarian aid ended up in ideological agencies and sectarian media, promoting wokism and criminal interference to overthrow conservative governments, such as Bolsonaro's and the Polish last year. That plundering of citizens, at least in the United States, is over. And when we review the accounts in the European Union we will see how Timmermans is no exception with his green religion. Common sense and an end to impunity will come here as well. Make Europe Great Again.
Hong Kong, notably the cases of Jimmy Lai and the 45 activists recently convicted under the national security law
Madam President, the arbitrary detention of journalist Jimmy Lai and the forty-five activists who have been condemned by the so-called National Security Law, like all the repression in Hong Kong, is very symbolic, because what it leads us to is a conclusion: the People's Republic of China is not trustworthy. That is the conclusion we draw from all this repression. The People's Republic of China massively violates its agreement signed in 1984, because freedoms should remain - with their guarantees - unchanged until 2047. None of that is happening: liberties and rights have disappeared altogether. The brutal rupture of his contract calls into question all contracts of the People's Republic of China. The repression in Hong Kong is a very clear sign that there can be no normalized relationship with those who trample on the human rights of their citizens, as well as contractual agreements.
Reinforcing EU’s unwavering support to Ukraine against Russia’s war of aggression and the increasing military cooperation between North Korea and Russia (debate)

Deplorable escalation of violence around the football match in the Netherlands and the unacceptable attacks against Israeli football fans (debate)
Mr President, the truth is that the title of this debate is a disgrace, but if we look at what the left is saying about what happened in Amsterdam, on the anniversary of the European Union pogrom. Kristallnacht, it's really terrible what we have in Europe: an alliance of the anti-Semites we have imported, the Muslims we have brought to every city and who have been around for a long time, certainly since the war broke out, sowing fear throughout Europe. And this pogrom was prepared before. There was no need for provocations from children or boys who go to football and who are like everyone else. hooligans in all parties, but there is no justification for a pogrom prepared as was that of Amsterdam. And this pogrom was allowed by the left-wing mayor of Amsterdam, who allowed the demonstration to take place right near the stadium, for which she is also responsible. Do you know the only country, the only capital, where Jews can walk today with a kippah and without fear? It's Budapest. Patriots for Europe will ensure that, in the other cities, in the other capitals, you can soon walk with a kippah and without fear.
EU-US relations in light of the outcome of the US presidential elections (debate)
Madam President, how much I fear and how much I hate Trump and how much I insult the American people who have elected him massively. Of course, a little more respect would be fine. But fear is what's here. The June elections already gave a big scare: The dream of that eternal easy life of the single social democratic party of popular, socialist, liberal and green, of the paralyzing pact of this house towards Europe, was broken. They saw the wolf's ears and the EPP embraced all the losers to accelerate that centralist and socialist megastate they are planning. Now they are panicking because Donald Trump, their nightmare, their great enemy, has triumphed. Americans have given Trump immense power to win back security, freedom, and prosperity in America: Just what we are denied here in Europe, every day poorer and every day less free. Fed up with the ideology of division – the lie, the envy, the rancor and the hatred of that socialist ideology shared here by all of you, this increasingly meager majority – and now it is happening: You are afraid and you are afraid because all this is already past.
Abuse of new technologies to manipulate and radicalise young people through hate speech and antidemocratic discourse (debate)
Madam President, yesterday I was at a dinner of the European Parliamentary Association, in which the majority are all those who govern, those who govern in the Commission, that is, the European People's Party and the left, the losers embraced by the European People's Party to continue to govern. There they were going to talk about the American elections and they were talking about Trump. And suddenly Trump was Hitler. Trump was Hitler. There, in an assembly of a number of MEPs, Trump was talked about with lies about his past and with insidious speculation about his future. Mrs. Applebaum, supposedly a great intellectual who has been given an award in Frankfurt, speaks of Trump as Hitler. We have also seen Mrs Harris – the candidate – speaking of Trump as Hitler. That insult to intelligence on the part of the left by calling Hitler, fascists, Nazis, all those who do not interest him, that is a censorship and an attack on all European thought. You want a Ministry of Truth to impose a lie, and we will not allow it.
The cases of unjustly imprisoned Uyghurs in China, notably Ilham Tohti and Gulshan Abbas
Madam President, one million Uighurs, a Muslim people in western China, are being crushed by the criminal communist regime, in lockdowns and concentration camps where genuine monstrosities are taking place. Ilham Tohti and Gulshan Abbas are symbols of the Uyghur pain and brutality of the communist regime. China is a danger to every free society, and business must not cover up this colossal threat. But the People's Republic of China is a very solvent business partner. Here are enthusiasts for Huawei, the world's largest spy company, and von der Leyen, Merkel and Macron themselves wanted to take a lot of European production to China. It was thwarted by COVID; Thank God, he interrupted. And then there was a very important turn in Europe to know who we are up against.
Escalation of violence in the Middle East and the situation in Lebanon (debate)
Madam President, many now say they are shocked by the entry into Lebanon of Israeli forces. Many, even if they do not say so clearly – right, Mr Borrell? – are very sorry that Israel has had such great successes in its war with Hezbollah, killed the historic leader Nasrallah and all his successors and led an unparalleled leadership of criminals. But no one here has raised their voice at the fact that, all this year, since the massacre of October 7, Israel had to give up almost a quarter of its tiny territory, because Hezbollah missiles made life unfeasible in the north of the country. There were perfectly useless United Nations troops there, Spanish in part, who have to be withdrawn, because they do nothing there. Israel would have to give up practically that, a quarter in the face of bombs. Any country that had, like Israel, neighbors turned into enemy terrorist bases that bombed its population on a daily basis, would be forced to take action. Otherwise, in the medium term, he would be doomed to succumb. Israel today is probably the only country in the Western world with a survival instinct and a real will to self-defense. That's an example we'll have to take. Entering Lebanon, it was a country with a Christian majority, which was called the Switzerland, yes, of the Middle East, and which only in half a century had its doors open until it was kidnapped by the guests: a Muslim majority who in turn allowed themselves to be abducted by a terrorist militia in the service of a foreign country. Israel is taking great steps to reorder the Middle East and we must seize that opportunity so that Lebanon acquires its sovereignty again real, has elections, its army dominates the entire country and is not that terrorist base that has been so far and that is insufferable, just like Gaza. There must be a new order, and Europe must help and not sabotage Israel's defense.
