The next item is the debate on the Commission statement on the effective and holistic management of migration through increased returns (2024/2882(RSP)).

The next item is the short presentation of the report by Georgios Aftias, on behalf of the Committee on Budgets, on the mobilisation of the European Union Solidarity Fund to provide assistance to Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Greece and France in relation to six natural disasters in 2023 (COM(2024)0325 – C10-0088/2024 – 2024/0212(BUD)) (A10-0002/2024).

The next vote is on the devastating floods in Central and Eastern Europe, the loss of lives and the EU’s preparedness to act on such disasters exacerbated by climate change (See minutes, item 7.7).
