State of the Union (debate)
I pressed blue card and to the EPP and you did not allow me to speak at blue cardSo you only have us. Mr Piperea, I think we should ask Mrs Ursula von der Leyen why she is not talking about the fact that yesterday Qatar was attacked by Israel and 15 civilians were killed. So it's a war, while Mrs. Ursula von der Leyen quoted from the Talmud and said that the religion of Israel is the religion of...
Strengthening Moldova’s resilience against Russian hybrid threats and malign interference (debate)
Mr President, I saw that it bothered most of you that I said "Moldova is Romania", but also accused - Putinism and so on. You can see that you are tabula rasa in history. You have no idea about history! Moldova was called Bessarabia and Bessarabia is Romania. Do you know who is against true history and says that Moldova was never Romania's and we should not unite and that we have no rights over Moldova? Putin's Russia and Putin. You have the same rhetoric as Putin and the Russian Federation about Romania's union with Moldova. Are you talking about democracy in Moldova, in our Bessarabia? Banning opposition parties and candidates - this is what Maia Sandu is doing - elections defrauded with the help of the power in Bucharest, establishing terror against opponents and throwing them in jail, closing televisions that do not support Maia Sandu's line, closing and censoring newspapers, both those sold at stalls and those online, censoring social media, closure of the accounts of organisations that are opposing. Moldova is an artificial state, Bessarabia is (...)
Wave of violence and continuous use of force against protesters in Serbia (debate)
Mr. President, yes, I hear you all talking here. I don't know how many of you have ties to Serbia. My paternal grandfather was Serbian, so I know a lot of things there. I know that everything that's going on right now is under the dominion divide et impera, because Serbia, obviously, was a European Union project started by the Soros Foundation together with the United States Department of State. After Trump's arrival, obviously the USAID project withdrew and then the European Union had to compensate for what the United States had not given there before. I ask the Serbs not to fall into this trap and not to play the game of Sorosist foundations, which, as in Romania, as in Bulgaria, are trying to put Serbs against Serbs. I ask them nicely to unite and fight against these petty interests of the European Union, because Serbia can have there an important Balkan hub in terms of Russian hydrocarbons and even, if Ukraine loses, even there an important economic point.
Ukraine (joint debate)
Madam President, I think you have not understood that the spheres of influence have changed and the poles of power are others. I think you have not understood that the European Union has been left alone and a completely different world power has been formed, with all those countries that you call dictatorships, while the most terrible dictatorship is being established in Europe. About 270 billion dollars had to pass through Romania from the United States to Ukraine. Do you know what happened during the time of Prime Ministers Ciucă and Ciolacu, whom you supported? 100 billion dollars have disappeared and are involved in their theft not only Romanian prime ministers, but also personalities from the leadership of the European Union. And no one's telling you that. The Romanians do not agree that we should die on the front for Ukraine, but know that we also have a million Romanians there who are oppressed and discriminated against by the dictatorial regime.
Governance of the internet – renewal of the mandate of the Internet Governance Forum (debate)
Madam President, you are discussing the right to freedom of expression and opinion, Article 10 ECHR, but in the Romanian Constitution we have Article 30(2), which states: ‘Censorship of any kind shall be prohibited’. And yet, we have people who are banned, sent to prison because they can afford to express their opinions, because they can afford to think, because they can afford to express opinions other than you. Who can decide what is fake news or disinformation? When power arrogates to itself this right, to mention that what another party is saying is fake news and misinformation, at that moment we are moving on to dictatorship. What is the difference between the leadership of the European Union and the communists who imposed on us their ideas, their expression, limited our right to speak, express and think, and sent our parents and grandparents to prison? The DSA must be abolished, and freedom of expression cannot be censored.
European Citizens' Initiative 'Cohesion policy for the equality of the regions and sustainability of the regional cultures' (debate)
Madam President, in general, I appreciate citizens' initiatives, but in this situation it was initiated by ethnic Hungarians in Romania and I want to tell you that Transylvania is Romania. And no, we do not agree with autonomy, because in Romania, ethnic Hungarians have the most rights that you can find out in any country. We are an example of how we respect ethnic Hungarians, from language, until, in these counties, Harghita, Covasna, Mures, literally only Hungarian is spoken and you are not allowed to speak Romanian. In this context, I heard a colleague from Hungary talking about the Praid Salt Mine. Well, the Praid Salt Mine is run by an NGO called Cholnoky Jenő, which operates with money from Hungary. I can admire Viktor Orbán for his foreign policy, but not for what he does in Romania. I say to him: Romania, Transylvania is Romania. And as far as the regions are concerned, look at Ukraine. Romania has there Northern Bukovina, Herta, Bugeacul and Hotinul, where a million Romanians are discriminated against, they are not allowed to speak Romanian, they are not allowed to pray...

EU Preparedness Union in light of the upcoming wildfire and droughts season (debate)
Madam President, thank you for mentioning Romania and Romanian firefighters, because every year, Romanian firefighters help in all countries, but unfortunately you do not know the problems of Romanian firefighters. They are paid 500-600 euros per month and after being firefighters, they also play paramedics at SMURD. That SMURD, which you cheered, led by Raed Arafat, who kills people. Because SMURD doesn't give you any first aid. And the firefighters, even though they do this service, they don't get any extra money. What's more, they don't have equipment, they don't have technology, even though it's a lot of money. I heard Mr Negrescu and Mr Buda speak, but they represent the Socialists and Liberals, who have ruled Romania for 35 years and say that firefighters do not have equipment. Well, because of them, they don't have the equipment, because they steal the money. Two years ago, at the fire in Crevedia, firefighters were to be lynched by the government and accused of not defending people, although they saved them, because of some dubious business of socialists and liberals with liquefied gas. This is the truth about the problems of the firefighters, who are heroes of Romania.

State of play of implementation of the European Media Freedom Act in the Member States (debate)
Mr President, Media Freedom Act, In fact, it complements the DSA, which you have adopted. In fact, all you're doing is setting up a new inquisition. In Spain, the Inquisition lasted 600 years. Speak only of control. Control of your power, control of the socialists and liberals, which in Romania is the purchase of the entire press. I, at least, am censored in all the media, on all the televisions, in all the journals. I'm not allowed to, because I'm telling a truth that doesn't suit you. Likewise, the DSA had its first victim, in my capacity, on 5 October 2024, when the Constitutional Court, at the request of Ursula von der Leyen, prohibited me from running for President for statements and political opinions in the newspaper, because I campaigned for the freedom to choose whether to vaccinate or not, for the truth about ‘plandemia’ and about war. The man up there, you forbade him to speak, though...
Preparation for the 2025 EU–China Summit - Tackling China's critical raw materials export restrictions
Madam President, I was wondering if Mrs Ursula von der Leyen would have both common sense and respect for all the MEPs who will take the floor, but also the courage to look me in the eye after her direct interventions in the presidential elections in Romania, where I was banned at her request. You're talking about China. I'm a lawyer and I've been working with the Chinese for 30 years. You're afraid of them because you don't know them. You want to go to the summit and pick on China, because she's friends with Russia? She has always been friends with Russia. He's part of the BRICS. That you don't understand. We are part of NATO. I would prefer to be part of the BRICS, because it is much more interesting BRICS and much more respectful. You want to talk about Taiwan? Big mistake! You go and discuss, and I'll tell you what was discussed at China's diplomatic mission when it was reproached about Taiwan. He said that as Germany united, so must they unite. Do you want to talk about human rights? In Europe we have the greatest tyranny, dictatorship and prohibition of human rights and violation of fundamental human rights. So you have no chance, starting from the premises that you discussed here. Learn a little more about diplomacy and international politics.
From institution to inclusion: an EU action plan for deinstitutionalisation, family- and community-based care (debate)
Madam President, in Romania, a person with a disability has an allowance of between EUR 45 and EUR 100 per month. The current president of Romania, Nicusor Dan, supported and appointed president by the European Commission and Mr. Macron, as mayor of Bucharest, until he became president, halved this allowance for people with disabilities. He could only get money from people with disabilities. Currently, the Bolojan government, also set up by the European Commission and Macron, has taken some steps. And what did he do? It has halved and cancelled many allowances for people with disabilities. This is the protection of people with disabilities in Romania. What's more, you're talking about deinstitutionalization. We have been deinstitutionalizing some disabled children for about two years now and I want to say that for two years they have been kept in apartments, in studios, from where they have never been taken out, for two years. In Romania, we do not have social assistance...
Product safety and regulatory compliance in e-commerce and non-EU imports (debate)
Mr President, I finally agree with you. But, as a lawyer, I tell you that these measures will not lead to a great success of the European Union, because it is about impoverishment of the population and then we force the population, through all the measures that have been taken for at least five years in the European Union, to go to very cheap and worthless things. Moreover, in Romania, because a colleague of factories and factories was talking here, you and the International Monetary Fund closed all factories and factories. Moreover, we also have a problem within the European Union, with designers ordering products cheaply in China and then selling them expensively in Europe. Moreover, we have French designers, such as Louis Vuitton and Dior, who copied Romanian and did not respond, while from China come countless Romanians, which are fakes. So it is with the pottery of Horezu and Corund, that we also have problems, not only Spain. And no one's taking a stand, which means we're going to lose on all sides.
Freedom of assembly in Hungary and the need for the Commission to act (debate)
Mr. President, since when does the minority lead a majority? Democracy is the law imposed by the majority. The majority, for example, in Romania, 98% of us are Christians. We disagree with homosexuality, we disagree with same-sex marriage, we disagree with same-sex adoptions, we disagree with civil partnerships. Nobody forbids them to exist, but in their bedroom. What are you doing on the street? What's so proud of you, man, to go out with your excessive hair on the street, with a mini-juvenile, to show all your exteriors, to show even your genitals in front of children you're destroying. It bothers me, as a woman, to see a man mocking femininity. It bothers me that 9- and 10-year-olds are taught to kiss on the street boy with boy, girl with girl. It bothers me, as a parent, that you mock our children. Get your paws off our kids!
Implementation report on the Recovery and Resilience Facility (debate)
Madam President, you are talking about stabilising the European economy because of the plandemic. In fact, you have done nothing but give money to some countries, and the other countries, through our citizens, to pay off your loans. You should talk to the two rapporteurs who are Romanians and who are part of the parties that destroyed Romania and which have now made Romania borrow 8.9% interest, the lowest interest rate. Why should my Romanians, who are already indebted to more than EUR 40 000 per capita, pay for what other countries profit from? Why are you talking about saving the European economy, when we have the most bankruptcies of transport companies, livestock, agriculture in Romania, and recently we have another blackmail of the European Commission to privatize all the companies that still belong to the Romanian state: Nuclearelectrica, Hidroelectrica, Romgaz and Transelectrica. Because the two, who come from the governing parties, destroyed this country.
One-minute speeches on matters of political importance
Mr President, we are talking about freedom of speech and democracy. No, it doesn't exist. It's the same in Russia as it is in Germany, and even worse. Once you're against power, you're branded an anti-Semite. I tell you this because absolutely all the opposition is made anti-Semitic and legislation is adopted against the opposition, accusing them of anti-Semitism, banning the history of Romania. Hi, bad, it is forbidden by a certain gentleman representative of the Khazars in Romania. It is forbidden, and if you talk about the history of Romania, you are imprisoned for 10 years. If you print a book or buy a book about the history of Romania in the Second and after the Second World War, you go to jail for 10 years. If you can afford to talk about Marshal Antonescu and Corneliu Zelea Codreanu and the Legionary Movement, which was never condemned by the Nuremberg Tribunal, you go to jail for 10 years. And that's because Mr. Vexler, who is the representative of the Khazars in Romania, wants to. And I ask you where is the freedom of speech? How to suppress newspapers, journals and television, because some people don't like the truth. Shimon Peres mentioned...

Strengthening rural areas in the EU through cohesion policy (debate)
Mr President, you were talking about the fact that citizens must have the chance to stay in the places where they were born. The Russians didn't have that chance. 10 million Romanians, half of Romania's population, are nomadic at the moment, in the sense that they were kicked out of the country by the measures of the European Union: because you have closed down mining, the forests have been taken by the Austrians, and only the old people are left in the countryside. The Romanians are developing your savings, because you have closed to us any possibility of developing us. Do you know that schools have been abolished in the countryside? You know there are no more dispensaries? Do you know that now, still coming from the European Union, they are forbidden to heat themselves with wood? Do you know that although we have one third of Europe's hydrographic network, Romanians are forbidden to draw water from the well to water their plants? Do you know that you require us to have animal diseases so that we no longer have agriculture and animal husbandry?

State of play and follow-up two years after the PEGA recommendations and the illegal use of spyware (debate)
Mr President, yes, you are talking about espionage and democracy, let's be serious, Europe is no longer a democracy. Nor has it ever been in Romania. In Romania during communism we were registered, spied on, and as a lawyer I tell you that all lawyers in Romania are spied on and registered. Former President Basescu paid about 500,000 euros for non-stop recording equipment for lawyers in Romania. Absolutely everything that happens in Romania in politics and here it's not just about defending journalists, most journalists are bought by the government and the governing parties. Here we are talking about lawyers, politicians, and I am being stalked and spied on, my countless messages are public, but in Romania it is legal and even if it is illegal, in court judges are being stalked, spied on, threatened, blackmailed, just like politicians. And yes, Mrs. Grapini, she is right, people no longer want to come into politics, including because of these criminal cases with blackmail.

Choose Europe for Science (debate)
Madam President, yes, we are talking about research. It's very nice, you have very good intentions, you think about money, you think about bringing the best researchers from the United States of America, those that America no longer needs, but you don't look at researchers from Europe and, of course, being Romanian, I want to praise my researchers from Romania: researchers who laid the foundations of the Magurele Institute of Atomic Physics, which you are leaving in disrepair; researchers who set up the most important institute, ‘Cantacuzino’ – thanks to which we would no longer need COVID vaccines with research that I do not know for whom you did it, maybe for Auschwitz, because they killed and kill and now I do not know what researchers they were – ‘Cantacuzino’ Institute that no longer exists and researchers have been put to go gathering vegetables through your countries; ‘Ana Aslan’ Institute of Geriatrics, which invented the elixir of youth. You are doing absolutely nothing for Europe. You're mocking! Bring only vaccines that have side effects and kill people. Gender ideologies, that's European research. When you learn to respect Europe and European researchers, then you will have excellence.
One-minute speeches on matters of political importance
Mr President, you have spoken here of rights, freedoms, fundamental rights and respect for states, but also for European Union law. However, you were also involved in this election in Romania. You have made this election null and void. Mr. Macron was involved in this election. The French ambassador was openly involved, went directly to the Constitutional Court and had a discussion with the President of the Constitutional Court before the elections. The Republic of Moldova has brought people from Moldova and taken them everywhere and voted three times – the biggest electoral fraud I have ever seen in the elections, which you here were willing to cancel in December and once again are being rigged last Sunday. You stole everything that could be stolen from Romanians, from resources to the right to vote. The coup d'état of October 5th, when you banned me from running, has now turned into a coup d'état.
Improving mental health at work (debate)
Mr President, you're talking about mental health at work, you're talking about a recreation program. Do you know that no employer lets you work just eight hours? I'm a lawyer and I've had a lot of litigation. You're forced to stay 14, 15, 16 hours of work. Don't you want to stay? No problem, you kick out and come in your place Asians, Africans, who you allowed to bring. In Romania there are several hundred thousand Asians and Africans who have taken the place of many Romanians: 10 million Romanians thrown outside the country's borders, who work in your countries not 8 hours and many are kept 12, 15, 16 hours each. We also had people in Italy held as slaves, because that's what you do: You are provoking problems and you want to make programs. Who will check the recreation program? Do you think an employer has an interest in seeing a man recreate himself...
Russian energy phase-out, Nord Stream and the EU's energy sovereignty (debate)
Mr President, we have heard here that you are worried that a new pipeline from Russia will go to Hungary and Serbia. Honestly, I sincerely hope that it will also pass through Romania, so that we can have gas as cheap as possible, because our gas has been stolen from us, you, the great powers in the European Union, who have taken all our resources, Romania being the country with the most resources in the European Union, but which we cannot get our hands on. We have the highest prices, the lowest wages, the lowest pensions. A pension is 200 euros. You live like this! In addition, you said you would help the countries of Eastern Europe. How will you help? For 18 years, since we have been in the European Union, we have nothing. You have destroyed our industry, you have destroyed our agriculture, all our land belongs to foreigners, to Italy, to Spain, to the Israelis, to the Austrians, oil and gas belong to the Austrians...
