While Trump is trying to bring peace, the European Union is arming itself and sending weapons to Ukraine, which means this war will not end. You don't care if the states oppose it. The states are not you, the states are the citizens, and you seem to have forgotten that you were voted by some citizens to bring them well-being, not to kill people. When you ask who is victorious in this war, know one thing: That victory in a war where people are killed and killed is Satan's. You are not God's people and you do not care about European citizens. In Romania, you asked us to borrow, over loans we have no place to give the money back. People are starving, they don't have access to health. People with disabilities have 50 euros per month of help, and you make us borrow. How do we give the money back? In November I was unable to pay salaries and pensions. Instead of joining Trump's peace plan, you are actually creating the worst war there. Mr President, I want to tell you, that Mehdi's death will not be in vain, that we will have to understand how this organised crime works. The 2023 and 2024 United Nations report states that the most important route of access to drugs after the start of the war in Ukraine is the Port of Constanta in Romania. This is where the largest quantities of drugs hidden in Ukrainian grain-covered shipments enter, because, according to the European Commission's provisions, no shipments coming from Ukraine are allowed to be controlled or stopped. Romania, from a drug transit country, has become, in two years, a country of consumption. The youngest age of a child who uses drugs is 8 years old. It is unimaginable, and if I also tell you that because of the influence in justice and politics, which are all involved in drug trafficking and take money from there, for this reason, this drug trafficking cannot be eradicated.

Mr President, I stood by and listened very carefully to all of you. Obviously, you have political statements and opinions for which we should all have parliamentary immunity. Tomorrow I turn 50: 50 years of life, half a century and almost 30 years of law, as well as 6 years of politics. Unfortunately, no rights of freedom of expression and opinion are respected in Romania. I have been asked to waive parliamentary immunity in the European Parliament for statements and political opinions expressed here and in the Romanian Senate. Unfortunately, the prosecutor did not wait for the waiver of immunity and began the investigation and ordered by an ordinance not my imprisonment, but in a psychiatric hospital, where it is full of people who tell the truth and fight for fundamental rights and freedoms. Just as in the case of Germany, maybe I will apply for political asylum in the United States of America, because it seems that the madmen and the corrupt run Romania, while the good people are imprisoned in the psychiatric hospitals.

Madam President, Commissioner, we are both... we come from the same country, from Romania, where misogyny is in bloom. I remember when you were appointed commissioner, how even those in power insulted you and brought unimaginable accusations against you, just because you were a woman and allowed yourself to get to a place where many men would have allowed themselves, but I don't think they could. In Romania, the situation of women is a terrible one, because every hour 14 women are victims of violence and most of them are killed, raped, offended, insulted. If we get into politics, it is even worse, because we are not allowed, because men call us ‘go to the saucepan’! Moreover, I want to tell you, as an MEP, Child Protection told me that I cannot take care of my child, being an MEP, so they came to take my 13-year-old girl and take her to a foster home. Moreover, the Prime Minister of Romania said that he cannot appoint women at the head of ministries, because he can only appoint competent persons, and women are not part of these persons. So, please, do something to respect women's rights in Romania as well.

Madam President, I am horrified to hear that the European Union has been unable to do anything for its citizens for 10 years. I am horrified to hear that for 10 years a man has been in prison, as you say, and accused, and the European Union is unable to do anything. Instead, when it comes to diplomacy with China, you are only ruining diplomatic relations. In fact, you have ruined all diplomatic relations with the BRICS countries. No one speaks of the BRICS as an economic alternative that has already occupied more than 50% of the world's population, which owns 76% of coal production, which contains 72% of the production of rare earth minerals. You, in fact, speak only of whatever is happening in other countries, but you do not see what is happening in the countries of the European Union, where, indeed, as our colleague said, no one should go to prison for free speech. In Europe it is done, in Romania there are people imprisoned for free speech.

Madam President, yes, it is very interesting what is happening there. My colleague from the Patriots is right. Everyone contributed to the disaster in Haiti and nobody cared. But it's very far away and I don't see how you can get involved, because any sanction, any threat doesn't matter. Instead, you could get involved here, in the European Union, in Romania, where we also have organised criminal groups killing people every day on the streets of Romania. We have girls who are taken and prostitutes. We have countless people unjustly imprisoned. Instead of the police and gendarmerie investigating these cases, they are ordered by the Minister of the Interior and the Minister of Justice to register politicians and MPs and MEPs 24 hours a day and to file criminal cases for any opinion and any live that they make. First, take care of it here. And by the way, two seconds, today is Ursula von der Leyen’s birthday, let’s say ‘Happy Birthday!’ and let’s say ‘Happy Birthday!’ to Putin yesterday.

Madam President, both as a Member of the European Parliament and as a lawyer, I wonder how it is possible to have citizens of the European Union, for several months now imprisoned in a prison in Equatorial Guinea, which is an extremely small country in Central Africa, which was effectively a colony of Spain, and we have so far done nothing? With all due respect, but what is the European Union doing to defend its citizens? And then, if the European Union is not able even in front of Equatorial Guinea to impose its respect, power and law, you are talking about rights and freedoms, why is it in Romania? You should know that in Romania we also have people imprisoned in prison, because they can afford to tell the truth on social media or on TV. Politicians who, like their previous colleague, are forbidden by the bank to have accounts. We politicians, including myself, are being put in prison for allowing ourselves to say the right to free speech and opinion. Since when did we come to Europe not to defend our citizens, neither here nor there?

Madam President, I have heard here some matters which, at least, have perplexed me. So only some states are allowed to have nuclear weapons, the others are not. We are talking about rights and freedoms in Iran, but we do not see censorship and inquisition in the European Union, led by Ursula von der Leyen and the European Commission, as well as the European Parliament. You don't see the censorship and inquisition in Romania, where people like me, for example, I have a criminal file for statements and political opinions in the European Parliament and in the Romanian Parliament. Are you accusing Iran but not Israel of genocide and crimes against humanity? Do you support Israel and have been complicit in the genocide there for two years? You only impose sanctions and I ask you: what have you done with the sanctions imposed on the countries you do not support? We have arrived without economy, without industry, without agriculture, and Europe is falling.

Madam President, we have been sitting and talking for two years. They vote resolutions over resolutions here and at the UN. I want to ask you: talk about the two-state solution – what are the two-state borders? Has anyone thought about it? I, as a lawyer, want to see what the boundaries are. Is Gaza still in Palestine or is it taken by Netanyahu? Because, in fact, Netanyahu and Israel have started to become two different issues. More than 1 million Jews have taken to the streets in Israel, demanding Netanyahu's dismissal and an end to genocide and crimes against humanity in Gaza. West Bank. The so-called ultra-Orthodox Jews claim that the territory now held by Israel does not belong to Israel, but to Palestine, and so it is, because, in 1948, the UN took the territory of Palestine and gave it to Israel. Mr. Dancu, you talked about manipulation and about elections that were rigged and I want to remind you that you, three days before October 5, the day when the Constitutional Court banned me from running for political opinions and declarations as a senator - for which I had parliamentary immunity - announced on Antena 3, a television that PSD pays, that I will no longer be a candidate, because PSD and PNL are preparing my exit from the presidential elections. How do you see manipulation when you yourself are the artisans of manipulation and you are the ones who defrauded the elections in Romania?

Mr President, yes, you are upset that China is now imposing very high taxes, not only on pork, but on many other products. But, unfortunately, you have not used diplomacy with China and you do not know them and you have not treated them properly. China, at this moment holds the highest power, is the highest power in the world. Europe has fallen. Unfortunately, we're going to get worse. It bothers you now and you want to help the farmers. Well, in Romania, you, here, but also from the European Commission, have acted against Romanian farmers. You brought us swine fever, although it never existed, and you banned our exports - and now they are blocked - so that the other countries, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the powers of Europe would win. When I asked you to help our farmers, you weren't interested and you went bankrupt. Now who are you gonna help? Still of the great European powers? Or are you also thinking about us in Eastern Europe?

Banning opposition parties and candidates - this is what Maia Sandu is doing - elections defrauded with the help of the power in Bucharest, establishing terror against opponents and throwing them in jail, closing televisions that do not support Maia Sandu's line, closing and censoring newspapers, both those sold at stalls and those online, censoring social media, closure of the accounts of organisations that are opposing. Mr. President, yes, I hear you all talking here. I don't know how many of you have ties to Serbia. My paternal grandfather was Serbian, so I know a lot of things there. I know that everything that's going on right now is under the dominion divide et impera, because Serbia, obviously, was a European Union project started by the Soros Foundation together with the United States Department of State. After Trump's arrival, obviously the USAID project withdrew and then the European Union had to compensate for what the United States had not given there before. I ask the Serbs not to fall into this trap and not to play the game of Sorosist foundations, which, as in Romania, as in Bulgaria, are trying to put Serbs against Serbs. I ask them nicely to unite and fight against these petty interests of the European Union, because Serbia can have there an important Balkan hub in terms of Russian hydrocarbons and even, if Ukraine loses, even there an important economic point.

Madam President, I think you have not understood that the spheres of influence have changed and the poles of power are others. I think you have not understood that the European Union has been left alone and a completely different world power has been formed, with all those countries that you call dictatorships, while the most terrible dictatorship is being established in Europe. About 270 billion dollars had to pass through Romania from the United States to Ukraine. Do you know what happened during the time of Prime Ministers Ciucă and Ciolacu, whom you supported? 100 billion dollars have disappeared and are involved in their theft not only Romanian prime ministers, but also personalities from the leadership of the European Union. And no one's telling you that. The Romanians do not agree that we should die on the front for Ukraine, but know that we also have a million Romanians there who are oppressed and discriminated against by the dictatorial regime.

Madam President, you are discussing the right to freedom of expression and opinion, Article 10 ECHR, but in the Romanian Constitution we have Article 30(2), which states: ‘Censorship of any kind shall be prohibited’. And yet, we have people who are banned, sent to prison because they can afford to express their opinions, because they can afford to think, because they can afford to express opinions other than you. Who can decide what is fake news or disinformation? When power arrogates to itself this right, to mention that what another party is saying is fake news and misinformation, at that moment we are moving on to dictatorship. What is the difference between the leadership of the European Union and the communists who imposed on us their ideas, their expression, limited our right to speak, express and think, and sent our parents and grandparents to prison? The DSA must be abolished, and freedom of expression cannot be censored.

Madam President, in general, I appreciate citizens' initiatives, but in this situation it was initiated by ethnic Hungarians in Romania and I want to tell you that Transylvania is Romania. And no, we do not agree with autonomy, because in Romania, ethnic Hungarians have the most rights that you can find out in any country. We are an example of how we respect ethnic Hungarians, from language, until, in these counties, Harghita, Covasna, Mures, literally only Hungarian is spoken and you are not allowed to speak Romanian. In this context, I heard a colleague from Hungary talking about the Praid Salt Mine. Well, the Praid Salt Mine is run by an NGO called Cholnoky Jenő, which operates with money from Hungary. I can admire Viktor Orbán for his foreign policy, but not for what he does in Romania. I say to him: Romania, Transylvania is Romania. And as far as the regions are concerned, look at Ukraine. Romania has there Northern Bukovina, Herta, Bugeacul and Hotinul, where a million Romanians are discriminated against, they are not allowed to speak Romanian, they are not allowed to pray...

Well, because of them, they don't have the equipment, because they steal the money. Two years ago, at the fire in Crevedia, firefighters were to be lynched by the government and accused of not defending people, although they saved them, because of some dubious business of socialists and liberals with liquefied gas. This is the truth about the problems of the firefighters, who are heroes of Romania.
