The next vote concerns the motions for resolutions on systemic oppression, inhumane conditions and arbitrary detentions carried out by the regime in Iran. (see point 6.2 of the Minutes).

We must act to protect younger users, without innovation becoming a weapon against people's dignity. We need to find ways to make manipulations recognizable. The aim is not to censor, but to coordinate prevention, digital education and cooperation between States, but also to strengthen the role of families, with the development of tools for parental control more effective, and to demand that platforms take responsibility for their impact on children. Some Member States, such as Italy, already have advanced legislation and preventive policies. Let's be inspired, but let's act quickly because the stories of isolated children, humiliated, pushed to silence or worse, do more and more harm and this action plan It's going in the right direction.
