Madam President, Commissioner, ladies and gentlemen, when we talk about women in rural areas, we are talking first of all about territories that want to continue living. This report contains some useful passages, especially when it speaks of the right to remain, maternity, services and simplification. One figure tells us how much the issue is heard and in Europe women still manage less than a third of farms. Yet, their contribution in rural territories is much larger than what often appears from statistics. There are agricultural entrepreneurs but there are also wives, mothers, daughters, women who hold work, family, company and community together every day. And, precisely for this reason, we must avoid a wrong answer, because the CAP has no gender, farms have no gender: they have costs, they have risks, investments, territories to oversee and the CAP must support those who produce, those who invest, those who create jobs and those who keep the land alive. It must help farmers to create social equity in rural areas. In my opinion, there is no need for new labels on agricultural funds. We need tools that work: credit, services, infrastructure, simplification. This is how we really help women in rural areas: not separating them from the agricultural world but creating equal opportunities and strengthening the agricultural world in which they live, work and want to stay.

The next vote concerns strengthening connectivity, protecting cultural heritage and enhancing local excellence in European tourism – Destination management and regional tourism development. (see point 9.21 of the Minutes).

The next vote concerns the protection of the financial interests of the European Union: Fight against fraud – 2024 Annual Report. (see point 9.18 of the Minutes).

The next vote concerns amendments to Parliament’s Rules of Procedure concerning appointments of Union agencies and bodies (Rule 135). (see point 9.15 of the Minutes). I would remind you that amendments to the Rules of Procedure can only be adopted by a majority of the component Members of Parliament.

The next vote concerns the amendment of the Biocidal Products Regulation as regards the extension of certain data protection periods. (see point 9.14 of the Minutes).

The next vote concerns the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund: workers whose expulsion from work is imminent. (see point 9.13 of the Minutes).

The next vote concerns the accounting of greenhouse gas emissions from transport services. (see point 9.10 of the Minutes). I have not received any amendment or motion rejecting the Council's proposal. Therefore, the European Parliament concluded the second reading and the legislative act was adopted.

The first vote concerned the request for the urgency procedure submitted by the EPP Group with regard to the Convention establishing an International Commission for Compensation Claims in favour of Ukraine. (see point 9.1 of the Minutes).

The next item is the voting session. Due to some technical problems that are being resolved that for the moment seem to be solved, there may be problems in the appearance of the voting lists on the screens of the classroom, so for now everything is working. If there are any problems, I will warn you and we will slow down the vote.
