The United Kingdom accession to the Convention of 2 July 2019 on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil or Commercial Matters (debate)
Mr President! This motion shows how international cooperation can work even without Brussels' patronage. Britain is no longer part of the EU. We owe this to the patience and assertiveness of a free people; The British can be proud of that. Nevertheless, it is possible to create legal certainty on an equal footing. A sovereign state, an international treaty, clear rules, without a multi-billion-dollar bureaucratic apparatus, without ideology – that is precisely our path. We need to reduce European cooperation to the essentials: Internal market, protection of external borders and voluntary bilateral treaties between sovereign nation states. Instead, we are witnessing an EU that is inflating into a political superstate that costs billions and is increasingly interfering in national decisions. We agree because it shows what real partnership looks like: the rule of law, voluntary and sovereign.
The Commission’s 2024 Rule of Law report (debate)
Madam President, Yes, what we are talking about here today is really inconceivable, because this report seriously calls for abortion to be enshrined as a human right in the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. And this commission will tacitly support this, because it is also part of a political deal to re-election Ursula von der Leyen. The Greens have demanded it, and Brussels should deliver: This is how power politics works in the European Union. And this report is called the Serious Rule of Law Report – in fact, it is an ideological weapon of war. If you don't feel it when it comes to migration, media or family politics, you will be put under pressure with EU funds. This report calls it quite friendly conditionality, but in reality it is a political attack on countries such as Hungary and Poland. And while an entire army of tax-funded NGOs is courted as a civil society, dissenters are silenced with terms like disinformation and hate speech. I would like to tell you how we define the rule of law as freedom of expression, sovereignty and genuine democracy; That is why we reject this report.
Combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child sexual abuse material and replacing Council Framework Decision 2004/68/JHA (recast) (debate)
Madam President, Thank you very much, rapporteur. My group has also voted in favour of this report. But for us personally, the problem lies much deeper, especially with us in Germany, in society, because there are doctoral games in kindergartens, programs such as Original play in Berlin, where foreign men are invited to cuddle with children, so to speak, teenagers who believe they live in the wrong body, and undergo irreversible interventions. All this is also done under the guise of tolerance, diversity and progress, but let me make it clear: This is not progress, this is an attack on the innocence of our children and the values that hold our society together. And in many European countries, and especially in Germany, children today are flooded with sexualized content long before they even have the maturity to understand it. School propaganda, so-called educational brochures and workshops of left-wing NGOs who want to re-educate minors under the pretext of education and diversity: However, they pervert the natural development of our children and, above all, blur the boundaries of normality. And all of this is supported by the CDU, especially in Germany. But abuse begins, above all, far before abuse and also pornography on the Internet. It begins where their apron organizations and party friends want to institutionalize and propagate the sexual re-education of our children. We must not allow our children to become victims of sick ideologies. A world without God, without family, without values – in this world everything is allowed, and we strictly reject this world. Children need protection, love and boundaries, not early sexualization.
One-minute speeches on matters of political importance
Mr President! We all remember the joyful Syrians who roamed our German Christmas markets last winter, shouting Allahu Akbar, not to celebrate the Feast of Love, but to celebrate the overthrow of the Assad regime in their home country, in the middle of Germany. And what followed? No return, no suitcases, no journey home. Now what? Now the EU is lifting sanctions. Syria is described as on the path to stability – investment is possible again, billions are to flow. And I tell you, if money flows again, if Syria is investable again, it is habitable again. Because one thing is clear: The ground for protection and asylum has ceased to exist. Our cities are not permanent refuges and our Christmas markets are not political rallying grounds for foreign parties to the conflict. The lifting of sanctions must not be a gift to the Syrian rulers, it must be the starting signal for international remigration treaties. We need to leave, and we need to do so on a massive scale.
The fine against TikTok and the need to strengthen the protection of citizens’ rights on social media platforms (debate)
Madam President, What would the AfD be without social media? A party without any contact with the sovereign, with the citizens. Millions of people are happy about the freedom to get their own picture because they no longer have confidence in the established media. TikTok has become the platform of freedom of expression in Europe. Opposition parties in particular find a way to disseminate their critical content without being affected by censorship. Especially on TikTok – you probably don’t find that nice up here – patriotic and conservative content attracts millions of viewers. Right-wing parties are becoming the strongest force among young voters. New trends are emerging and the mainstream is losing its grip – as here before. TikTok has thus become an enemy image for all those who prefer to suppress unwelcome opinions about the preservation of their own power. Let us think only of dealing with the German government and, above all, with the AfD, the largest opposition party. It is therefore not surprising that TikTok is once again being pilloried in isolation. Yes, the risk of TikTok sharing data with China is real. But just as real is the threat that governments, in the name of national security, censor platforms on which unwelcome opinions and criticism of the establishment are spread. You're losing confidence, we're gaining traction. Therefore, the digital space is censored under the guise of data protection.
Safeguarding the access to democratic media, such as Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (debate)
I do not think much of the fact that the media should now be financed by a European Parliament. Just as I think it is wrong that we have the most expensive radio in the world in Germany – we pay 8 billion euros a year in compulsory fees. 8 billion euros to a medium that ultimately only serves to serve this government, especially those as a buffalo.
Safeguarding the access to democratic media, such as Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (debate)
Mr President! You know, in Germany, old-age poverty is rising, and pensioners who have worked all their lives now have to collect bottles, and here one is considering pumping even more money into a supposedly independent medium. It is clear: Isn’t their money – Germany is the biggest financial bouncer here in this store. And the last time the EU supported an independent medium financially, it was CORRECTIV with almost 400,000 euros. And we all know what CORRECTIV ultimately did for us in Germany: The Potsdam Lie was created. And if your medium is so independent, then this medium can also finance itself, as many free media in Germany, such as Junge Freiheit, Kontrafunk, etc., which show how real diversity of opinion works.
Presentation of the New European Internal Security Strategy (debate)
Mr President! What the Commission is selling today as a security strategy is actually the old game – more power to Brussels, less responsibility in the nation states. Mr Brunner, you spoke of a new reality in the committee report. But this reality, this new reality, is homemade – open borders, mass immigration and imported terrorism. Instead of protecting our borders, they provide us with technocratic simulations on resilience and civil-military cooperation. Secure critical infrastructure? Yes, but nationally and not with Brussels phrases. Europe does not need a readiness union, but border controls and sovereignty. And yes, especially the left speaks here of terrorism in attacks of men's problems. But let me tell you something: In Hungary and Poland there are also cars and men. And you know what? In particular, the record of Islamist terrorist attacks is zero. Why? Because these governments protect their citizens and, above all, their borders.
Need to ensure democratic pluralism, strengthen integrity, transparency and anti-corruption policies in the EU (debate)
Madam President, Imagine Viktor Orbán changing the constitution with an elected parliament. Imagine that half an hour after the election, he would break all the election promises he had made an hour earlier. And imagine that Viktor Orbán would deprive his fellow citizens of their right to vote if they were critical of the government – what would happen here in this house! An outcry, revolution, tears on all benches, sanctions would have long since been decided, because democracy is in danger. This is exactly what is happening in Germany. A diselected parliament changes the Basic Law, indebts generations and undermines democratic principles, and here in the House – silence. Because it serves your agenda, because it doesn't hit the wrong parties, but exactly the votes you want to silence. Once again it shows: The EU loves democracy and its citizens only when they are left-wing and colourful.
Presentation of the proposal on a new common approach on returns (debate)
Madam President, For years, Europe has been engulfed in the chaos of migration. Millions have arrived illegally on our continent since 2015, and today it is once again clear: You have completely lost control. In 2024 alone, 450,000 foreigners were required to leave the EU, and only 120,000 of them left Europe. Let me tell you why we are so skeptical: Dublin III is a foreign word for many here, because if you and your Member States would stick to it, we would have been spared terrible attacks in Germany, such as in Solingen, Mannheim, Munich and Aschaffenburg; The children, fathers and mothers would still be alive. Instead of finally protecting our people, Frontex, the world's most expensive border agency, is playing water taxi instead of finally running border guards and pushbacks. And here in this House, a Green has been appointed rapporteur of the working group on proposals and returns, as if turning the buck into a gardener. And even better: The measures in the report have not even been updated since 2010, because Greens are interested in mass migration and no deportations. Be honest: This debate here now leads to where the EU is already at the forefront – to even more bureaucracy. You want to keep the appearance and pretend to the people that you were really going against illegal mass immigration. But reality will punish you for lying when mothers and their daughters lose their sons to your protégés again. For you are afraid; You are afraid of losing even more percentages, because you already know that this complete page will halve by 2029. If you really want to change something, then I can tell you what to do; It has already been indicated. Returns only make sense in the EU countries if one adheres to law and regulations, i.e. pushbacks, pushbacks and pushbacks again. We need refugee camps outside the EU, so that the green smuggling finally comes to an end, the cancellation of development aid to countries that do not want to take back their illegals. Honestly, you could also use the money here sensibly, namely for remigration projects.
Links between organised crime and smuggling of migrants in light of the recent UN reports (debate)
Thank you, Mrs Galán, for accepting the question. In Germany alone, more than 750 gang rapes were recorded per day in 2023, to say the least. And the suspects are over 50 percent foreigners. I ask you, because we are confronted with this conflict, how you evaluate such figures.
Links between organised crime and smuggling of migrants in light of the recent UN reports (debate)
Madam President, More than 90 percent of illegal migrants are supported by smugglers, and these criminals make profits of up to 6 billion euros per year. The latest Europol report speaks volumes: 48 criminal networks specialising exclusively in the smuggling of migrants. And a report from UN Women shows that 90% of women and girls on the Mediterranean route are victims of rape – 90%! And that is ultimately the result of your left-wing green policy. Their open borders, their migration pact with family reunifications and the right to an asylum procedure make smuggling a lucrative business model. And from countries – of course also from my home country, from Germany – comes the signal: Anyone can come, everyone will be taken care of. What we need, however, are finally refugee camps outside the EU – a request also from my group, which has found a majority here in this plenary, but which has caused the budget to burst due to the fact that the left does not understand democracy here. Such ideas would also prevent people from embarking on this life-threatening journey to Europe. And only those people who really have a ground for asylum would receive an asylum application or the asylum procedure, and this would especially reduce suffering on both sides. Because what happened again today in Germany: A mother, a father have lost their toddler because an Afghan followed a kindergarten group with a knife. And this Afghan was again a perpetrator who was conspicuous in the past. I can only tell you one thing: With my party, the AfD, there will be a political change, especially after the elections. Remigration will be the order of the day.
Need to enforce the Digital Services Act to protect democracy on social media platforms including against foreign interference and biased algorithms (debate)
Maybe to my colleagues again: I am not afraid of science. I stand by facts and figures. But I am afraid of an EU that, among other things, has paid CORRECTIV huge amounts of money in recent years, to a public-legal broadcaster that specifically supports only one political opinion in my country. I stand here because I stand up for the democracy and freedom of my country.
Need to enforce the Digital Services Act to protect democracy on social media platforms including against foreign interference and biased algorithms (debate)
Madam President, The big social media platforms are finally ending their censorship, and even Mark Zuckerberg now admits that legitimate opinions were massively suppressed during the coronavirus era. While here you are mainly outraged that a conversation between Alice Weidel and Elon Musk allegedly distorted the German elections, you are silent about the real manipulation. Foreign billionaires such as Bill Gates and George Soros are investing millions in media such as the mirrors or CORRECTIV to direct public opinion in Germany. Where's your outcry? Germany has the most expensive radio in the world, but Alice Weidel is partly deliberately ignored during the campaign period because Robert Habeck does not dare to meet her. Do you call it neutrality? The DSA is supposed to fight illegal content, in fact it opens the door to political abuse. A law that ultimately gives power to the government is an attack on our democracy. If several EU officials monitor our candidate for chancellor's talks while there are hardly any border guards, then everything is going wrong in this EU. The DSA is abolished – for a real freedom of expression in Europe.

Managing migration in an effective and holistic way through fostering returns (debate)
Madam President, Commissioner! There has been so much talk about numbers, but by September of this year alone, 166,000 people have entered the EU illegally, and the number of unreported cases is much higher. We have been struggling with this problem since 2015, and it is only now that we are talking about it in this House. Above all, this Union is also largely to blame for the fact that millions of illegal immigrants have come to our continent and can hardly be deported. A reform is now being philosophised about reforming the Common European Asylum System, which, above all, will not be implemented until two years from now. Do you really think that nothing happens during this time? Do you think that cases like those in Solingen and Mannheim are waiting for your reform? We don't need reform, we don't need more migration agreements. What we need are quickly built, humane entry and return centres and the cancellation of development aid for countries that do not want to take back their illegal citizens. And above all, we need a federal government in Germany that wants to withdraw from the Common European Asylum System.
One-minute speeches (Rule 179)
Mr President! Already from corona times, citizens know that their opinion has been censored and criminalized, and now freedom of expression is to get even more under the wheels. The traffic light has radicalised the law on digital services even further in Germany; it is a blatant mockery – now the German citizens also have to let habeck buddy Klaus Müller impose hotlines. For illegal content, Germany actually has a state structure consisting of the judiciary and the police. And let me say it very clearly: The state radio no longer has the power of opinion. That's why people are now being told what else they can say. We from the AfD do not accept this. We will therefore also work above all to abolish the censorship law, i.e. the law on digital services, for real freedom of expression.
Strengthening the security of Europe’s external borders: need for a comprehensive approach and enhanced Frontex support (debate)
Mr President, ladies and gentlemen! In every country outside the EU, rejections by border guards are a matter of course. Border guarding without rejection is just a welcoming committee. We therefore support the rearmament of Frontex under the following premise: That the authority can also do its job. The figures are clear: Illegal migration via the Western route has increased by 123% and via the Eastern route by 193%. We must therefore immediately stop the trend that Frontex is being converted into a water taxi and tugboat association. With an annual EU budget of more than €189 billion, you spend just a ridiculous 1.1% on border management. But that should be the main priority here in this House. Perhaps again for the colleague back here who spoke of the rule of law: Illegal migrants are called ‘illegal’ because they are here illegally. If we care for law and order, we finally reject it at our borders. No pushback is illegal.
The reintroduction of internal border controls in a number of Member States and its impact on the Schengen Area (debate)
Madam President, Commissioner, ladies and gentlemen! Dealing with illegal mass migration is the crucial issue of our time. Millions of people have been pouring into our continent illegally for years, and this EU is failing to protect our external borders. As long as Germany and other EU countries offer money instead of benefits in kind, this will remain the case for the first time. If von der Leyen's Commission fails in such a criminal way, our countries are forced to compensate for this failure. With your fatal migration policy, you are endangering the internal market and also the Schengen area, because we currently have eight nations that have therefore reintroduced border controls – and that is right, because we stand for the protection of our own people. All over the world, this would be self-evident, only in Europe are countries like Hungary, which protect their own borders, even punished for it – this is unbelievable. It is obvious that you do not want to protect our homeland and above all you cannot do anything with your own. That is why we are committed to a dual border system. This is also the will of the voters in Germany.
Need to prevent security threats like the Solingen attack through addressing illegal migration and effective return (debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen. Nothing has changed our continent so much in the last ten years and nothing has affected it so much as the illegal migration of millions of people, which also caused the Commission and also our German government under Merkel and Scholz. Since then, thousands of women have been victims of foreign perpetrators of violence, countless terrorist attacks have been carried out that have torn families apart. And Solingen, by the way, was just another sad climax. Again dead, and again the perpetrator was an illegal migrant. And all this because you write diversity and especially multiculturalism on your flags and on your folk festivals. All these deaths are also victims of a policy that does not identify anyone and that above all turns its own people into wild game, especially this commission. Unfortunately, Frau von der Leyen is not here either: Above all, your CDU is also the reason that security is only a foreign word in my homeland, in Germany, and above all a haven for over 27,000 Islamists who can strike at any time. The real refugees, who fled mainly from these Islamists, are again victims thanks to this policy. Their policies mainly affect the ordinary people, the children who go to public schools and not to private gymnasiums, workers who go to work every day with the public and not with the electric SUVs. In a nutshell – everyone suffers from your policies, but not yourself. We don't need any more lip service or crocodile tears. If the protection of our nation were an honest concern – and unfortunately one has to say so – you would have strengthened Frontex years ago, instead of financing smuggling NGOs and thus, above all, promoting illegal migration. What we need now, and that is why my party is above all on the upswing: We need border management at the external borders and border controls within Europe because you are forcing us to do so. Above all, we need remigration instead of migration agreements with Kenya, which make illegal migration legal. This is what our citizens in Germany want in particular. If you are unable to do so in this House, my party, the AfD, will in future reverse what you are causing here in Germany and restore security and order. As the second strongest force and as the strongest force in East Germany, we will secure the borders again, deport them on a large scale and pay attention to who suits our society and who does not.
