Dear rapporteur, I would like to ask you as the representative of the ruling majority. The European Union is only talking, but not taking very concrete action. Lately Lithuania, my country, has been a member of NATO. Drones are coming in. The Minister of National Defence says that there were no drones here, but a group of sparrows, but two weeks later finds drones in a military range. Air balloons arrive a couple of days ago. They say we don't have anything to shoot down. It's a fairy tale. Take the bow, the arrow, and shoot down. It is a shame for all of Europe and the world. When will the European Union take serious decisions?

Mr President, honourable Members of the European Parliament. I was surprised by this debate when no MEP, not even from Poland, expressed gratitude to Belarus, which warned Poland that drones would fly into its territory. And that's why I think they've all been shot down. I would like to point out that the European Union, and Lithuania in particular, makes Belarus a friend of Putin and not its ally. Dear MEPs, I am constantly asking myself a question and I want to ask the same question to you. Who has determined in the world that some countries may have nuclear weapons, while others may not? Behold, Iran is being bombarded to prevent it from enriching its nuclear weapons, even though Iran says it is enriching for peaceful purposes. America says Israel will destroy Israel, and Russia doesn't threaten with a nuclear weapon? It's a threat! But we're not bombing Russia. Is China a democratic country? No, but she has the right to have a nuclear weapon. Who found it? And if Ukraine had not given up its nuclear weapons and had not signed the Budapest Treaty, I think it would not have been attacked by Russia today.

I believe that the Green Deal should be balanced and should not overshadow the overall economy. We are definitely becoming uncompetitive as a result of the Green Deal in many branches, and I think we need to look at the global single market and not ruin our business. Therefore, I think that we are not keeping that balance and, unfortunately, we are trying to just forcibly set up the Green Deal by collapsing business on a global level. Both the automotive industry and farmers in the European Union are protesting, and this Green Deal policy should be very balanced and carried out responsibly.

I wanted to ask you, are there not too many different institutions in the European Union? It seems to me that there is the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Head of the European Commission. Why do we need to hold the presidency of each country separately? Is there such a folk proverb, Nine babysitters and a child without a head? We also don't know who is responsible for what, or who takes responsibility for it, or we don't really need less of that bureaucracy.

Dear President. I asked you, colleagues from the EPP party, when you would welcome Ukraine into the European Union. He said it was a reactionary question. And those resolutions, as I said, are not being asked for by the Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, whom we accept every day as we love Ukraine. So can you then publicly tell everyone that you are not going to accept Ukraine into the European Union? And what is interfering with this? Mr President, rapporteur, I am asking this question for the fourth time and I am not getting an answer. The European Parliament and the European Commission love Ukraine very much and there is no day for us not to adopt any resolution on love for Ukraine. But President Zelenskyy is not asking for resolutions, he is asking for membership of the European Union. Who is to blame for not admitting Ukraine to the European Union after this day – Putin, Trump, Ukraine or the European Union? And tell me, after all, when will you get from words to real deeds?

Dear President. Europe needs to understand that NATO is America. And, I think, in the face of the war in Ukraine, which has been going on for more than three years, the European Union must understand and draw serious conclusions. It must have its own army, its own weaponry, its own industry. Today, NATO can be said to be America. It has its own interests, but Europe must have its own interests and must defend them. Isn't it a shame for a Europe that hasn't defended Ukraine for so many years? Russia continues to invade Ukrainian territory. The pretext is that it is not a NATO member, Ukraine, and we will not defend it. And Israel is a member of NATO? And Taiwan is a NATO member? There's a gun there. And another commitment between Europe and America, this is the Budapest Treaty, when Ukraine abandoned nuclear weapons. Where are the commitments? None That is, in practice, Europe must have its own army and armaments.

Mr President, the European Union has developed as a democratic state, a union, but it has degenerated into a dictatorial union similar to the former Soviet Union. It was dominated by communism. Anyone who criticized communism was persecuted. Now in the European Union, whoever criticizes genderism is also persecuted. It degenerates, persecutes those who defend Christian values, who do not allow them to be destroyed. The European Union has become a dictatorial union. Mr President, honourable colleague, the European Parliament is, in my opinion, simply a source of evil. From here comes the advocacy of sexual perversions, gay pride, other crimes, which especially harm children. So maybe here we take measures and stop this propaganda, and then there will be less sexual offenses. With one hand you punish, and with the other hand you see, you promote crime. How do you assess this?

Presidencies, Commissioner. When a petition to the European Parliament is being elected today in Lithuania, because the former Social Democrats, who were in power now, opposed the current government by participating in the election campaign and said that they would not raise taxes. Including real estate, personal income taxes and others. When they came to power, they accepted the tax hike today after submission. People are outraged at being deceived. One speech before the election and another after the election. People see how public wealth is being wasted and how bureaucracy is expanding. Even the National Audit Office determines this, but does not take action, robs people. I hope that both the European Commission and the European Committee on Petitions will take and seriously examine the hundreds of thousands of signatures collected by Lithuanian citizens.

I have 20 seconds left! You cut me off! Therefore, I have the right to compare these systems. And my blood boils when I'm in the European Parliament as the last Soviet political prisoner. It feels like the Soviet Union! Look at the plenary sessions of the Soviet Union, as they said there is a democratic country! But those who went against the communist government persecuted and imprisoned them!

Mr President, Commissioner, I think I am one of the former Soviet political prisoners here, the last political prisoner. I was persecuted by communist ideology for my faith. I fought for the freedom and independence of Lithuania, my country. I have the right to compare two ideologies, the communist and the leftist, which you represent, and I say that this system is more terrible. There is no democracy. When Hungarian Prime Minister Orban defends his families, the state from your ideology, you persecute him. What kind of democracy is this? (The Chair interrupted the speaker) Why did you stop me? Honourable MEPs, Honourable Commissioners, can you believe that Hamas invaded Israel on 7 October without Netanyahu knowing? You can't fly across the border of Israel. And it was allowed to kill almost a thousand innocent Israelis. I am told that this is a provocation, so that the world can then justify the killing of children and the total destruction of the Gaza Strip. These are intolerable actions. The European Commission must carry out a study on these issues. And I also propose that the day that the Hague Tribunal found Netanyahu and his group criminal be mentioned as we mention the Holocaust. It is the killing of peaceful people.

Dear rapporteur, for 80 years Europe has been freed from Nazi Germany, but our country Lithuania, including Poland, fell under the influence of the Soviet Union, where faith and freedom of speech were also persecuted. Lithuanians and Poles fought in various organizations for their freedom. When we regained our independence, we fell under another ideological oppression, genderism. Do you think Europe will free itself from that genderist and leftist ideology, or will it die in it?

You have to take the ultimate responsibility for the Green Deal, which has become a faith. Will this major crisis in Spain, Portugal and France be enough to wake up to the ruling majority and realise that there are still other species, including nuclear power plants, which have been closed down in many countries of the European Union? Will you change your course or will you still remain in this error and continue to pray for that Green Deal?

We debate European competitiveness often in the European Parliament, and I think we have already learned the problems by heart. This is bureaucracy, the Green Deal, corruption, and, of course, emigration. However, this ruling majority, which created these problems, I think will not solve them, they are only deepening. Recently, a week ago, electricity was lost in Spain, Portugal and part of France due to the Green Deal. But we are afraid to even name it, and we are not talking about it, and we do not recognise that it is a problem of the Green Deal. This is why I believe that the European Union should learn from its mistakes and draw conclusions, but it only makes cosmetic corrections and does not solve those problems. And it has no future and will not be competitive in the global market.
