Amendment of Act CLXXXV of 2010 on media services and mass media (1) Act CLXXXV of 2010 on media services and mass media (hereinafter: Section 9(1) of the Media Act is replaced by the following: A media service provider providing linear media services shall, prior to publication, classify all programmes which it intends to publish, with the exception of news programmes, political information programmes, sports programmes, pre-programme and political advertising, teleshopping, public service advertising and public interest announcements, into one of the categories referred to in paragraphs 2 to 7.’ (2) It's Mttv. Section 9(6) is replaced by the following: Programmes which are capable of adversely affecting the physical, mental or moral development of minors, in particular through the promotion or portrayal of violence, deviation from self-identity corresponding to sex at birth, gender reassignment and homosexuality, or through the direct, natural or gratuitous portrayal of sexuality, shall be classified in Category V. Rating of such a programme: Not recommended for children under 18 years of age.
