Combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child sexual abuse material and replacing Council Framework Decision 2004/68/JHA (recast) (debate)

Dear Madam President, Protecting our children from all forms of sexual exploitation and abuse, both online and offline, is of paramount importance and it is our duty to support the proposed directive. At the same time, this proposal does not address a number of areas where child sexual abuse is also taking place. These include, for example, the issue of child marriage, which is closely linked to mass migration and the failure of integration. But the LGBTQ lobby's push and its activities endangering children's healthy development have also been omitted. If children are recognised as being at risk from online sexual content, why are they tabooing the fact that Pride events depicting gratuitous sexual content in an indecent manner that seeks to influence children’s gender identities, or school and kindergarten sensitisation to sexuality disguised as education classes, are psychological abuse? The Hungarian legislation protecting children is being challenged, although it should be followed rather than punished.

Choose Europe for Science (debate)

Madam President, I'm sorry. Strengthening research and development is one of the keys to competitiveness, but setting targets is a Member State competence. Centralisation can lead to gross imbalances and serious problems. The Bologna Process has already led to a drop in standards in universities, but it is also a warning sign that during the COVID dictatorship a witch hunt was conducted against scientists who questioned the WHO dictates. Scientific freedom does not tolerate political and ideological pressure, so it is harmful that the draft already highlights the green transition, gender studies and pays special attention to Ukrainian researchers, thus quasi-determining the political conditions for support. By overemphasising mobility, European researchers may be placed at a disadvantage vis-à-vis third-country nationals. In other words, the proposal will covertly facilitate migration and make it more difficult for researchers to return to their home countries, thereby increasing the brain drain within the EU, which is severely affecting the less wealthy Member States.

The Hungarian government's drift to Russia-style repression: legislative threats to freedom of expression and democratic participation (debate)

Madam President, I'm sorry. They welcomed the cancellation of an election result in Romania on the grounds of foreign interference. They were outraged when the American owner of the X platform openly stood up for the AfD. Now a Member State wants to achieve transparency of public actors and organisations in the political field, i.e. to prevent foreign influence. As they respond to this, the typical double standard is: If a sovereign state wants to make its globalist mainstream network visible, it cries out dictatorship, it denies the right of a nation-state to self-defense. The justification of the law is demonstrated by the intensified protests of globalist forces. It can be seen that the proposal has touched on a sensitive point. But that's still not enough. Meta's politically biased censorship of globalist ideology still restricts freedom of expression in my country, influencing the upcoming elections. We must also take action against this, because Hungary is free forever.

80 years after the end of World War II - freedom, democracy and security as the heritage of Europe (debate)

Madam President, I'm sorry. It is necessary to learn from historical sins, not to repeat them. As peace is proclaimed, humanity is being pushed towards another world war. The end of World War II brought Soviet occupation to Hungary. The great powers have decided our fate without asking us. We have learned that wars are never about justice, but about money, power and political interests, just as, unfortunately, peace is. Still, we must do everything we can to bring about a cessation of arms. But Europe has not learned from the past, it wants to solve its economic problems again with armaments, it fights against freedom of thought with unnatural ideologies, it helps to silence political dissent and it denies reality. Europe has a fundamental interest in peaceful economic cooperation with Russia. Every time this happened in history, a war broke out. That's what happened now. Stranger interests are dragging Europe on the wire as they plunge us into ruin. Let's put an end to this. Let's not talk about peace, let's make it happen.

Recent legislative changes in Hungary and their impact on fundamental rights (debate)

Dear Madam President, You want to shame my country again, but we won't let you. The right of assembly may be restricted, proportionate, necessary and for social protection reasons. This includes Pride, which promotes different gender identities and sexual deviances in a manner that is indecent to the public. Of course, they did not protest when, under the government of the left-liberal parties, the right of assembly was actually put in brackets in Hungary by brutal state violence. And you also think it is okay that in this debate, too, my country will be attacked by a Member who has to wait for a court verdict for attempted life-threatening bodily harm. This law change is fighting one of the world's strongest and most dangerous lobbies, which openly seek to eradicate the traditional social order. We call on the Hungarian government to be more consistent and more effective in protecting families from attacks by rainbow lobbying organisations, and to lift proceedings against those who have spoken out against the spread of LGBTQ propaganda in schools.

Conclusions of the European Council meeting of 20 March 2025 (debate)

Dear Madam President, After three years of horrific massacres, we don't need additional support, we need a compromise peace. You only talk about Russian war crimes, and you don't even mention the other side's inhumanities. The fact of Russian aggression does not absolve Ukrainians from their responsibility for war crimes. There is a dangerous message when, by applying double standards, the EU turns a blind eye to the defilement of human rights by whoever commits it. In my last pro-peace speech, I spoke about the violations against Hungarians living there, so I received a threatening e-mail from Ukrainian extremists. They declared me an enemy of Ukraine and issued a final warning to me. The European Parliament is the guarantor of democratic principles, including the protection of freedom of expression. I will forward the threatening letter to the Presidency of Parliament and ask that those extremists who try to obstruct the exercise of the free mandate by threatening and coercing be condemned.

Dear Madam President, We agree that culture has an important role to play in restoring Europe's strength and competitiveness, because it is precisely the cultural diversity of Europe that has made this continent incomparably creative for centuries. But the cultural compass you are proposing serves to strengthen globalisation and centralisation and goes against the historical tradition of small circles of freedom, which has made Europe great. They are forcing extremist liberal doctrines, eroding traditional values while reducing the weight of nation-states. This will only weaken Europe further. Diversity means the spread of foreign cultures over indigenous national cultural heritage. A common European cultural identity is indefinable because it does not exist. It would create a mocking and robbed mass. The key to Europe's greatness lies in its cultural diversity. This is what we need to protect and support.

European Council meetings and European security (joint debate)

Madam President, I'm sorry. You know what Arthur Koestler called a closed system? A pattern of thinking that excludes reality and logical connections from reasoning. It is based on emotion and ignores common sense and reality. When you push for continued unbroken support for Ukraine, regardless of changing circumstances, you are thinking in this closed system. By denying the realities, they have achieved that Europe seems to be missing out on peace-settlement and thus on the redistribution of spheres of interest. It's time to face reality. Hungary has been put to shame for years for its rule of law problems and lack of transparency. Why doesn't this bother you about Ukraine? We can't talk about democracy, its president is illegitimate, forced recruitments that violate human rights are commonplace, the violation of minority rights is slowly turning into genocide, but I don't hear any concerns about the rule of law. Instead of voting new astronomical sums for the war, it should be investigated, in the spirit of transparency, how much of the billions of euros sent to Ukraine so far have fallen into the hands of oligarchs. It is necessary to clarify whether some of the weapons arriving there actually ended up with terrorist organisations such as Hamas or ISIS, or whether the Mexican drug cartel also benefited from it. Step out of the closed system of their minds and assess the realities before they fantasize about Ukraine's membership of the EU and NATO, because they are playing with the fatal weakening of Europe and the Third World War!

Commission Work Programme 2025 (debate)

Dear Madam President, The surest sign of madness is when you always do the same thing and expect a different result. Listening to the Commission's work plan for 2025, this "bon mot" came to mind. When will they realize that their globalist-federal recipes have failed? Migration and energy crisis, unemployment, competitive disadvantage, demographic crisis and public security emergency. Europe's main problems have been caused by your bad decisions and, as a solution, your failed policies are being offered again. This is really crazy! Instead of mass migration, we need effective border protection, a family-friendly policy, stopping population change, reducing the number of abortions, and mass deportation. Sanctions must be reviewed to remedy the energy crisis. Instead of Orwellian brainstorms labelled as democracy shields, national sovereignty must be respected. Instead of the Green Deal, which serves the profit interests of global capital groups, we must support the protection of creation. If you want to lead Europe out of the crisis you've been chased into, it's time to replace the expired record.

Continuing the unwavering EU support for Ukraine, after three years of Russia’s war of aggression (debate)

Dear Mr President, Background games and the interests of global capital have kept this war alive for three years now. People are being murdered while we debate here, and this affects us Hungarians at close range. Because the western part of Ukraine belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary for a thousand years, and this region was separated from our country by the denial of self-determination in 1920. Hungarians and Ruthenians living there are being forced to die for a cause they have nothing to do with, as the current Ukrainian state does not guarantee their most basic national rights. We need to talk not about subsidies, but about an immediate ceasefire and peace settlement, especially if Europe wants a place at the negotiating table. In order to achieve lasting peace, border settlement, which is still taboo today, must also be put on the agenda. In doing so, Hungary cannot renounce ensuring the self-determination of Transcarpathian Hungarians and Ruthenians.

Combating Desertification: 16th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) of the United Nations Convention (debate)

Dear Mr President, Hungary's agricultural lands are drying up due to human activity. The natural water balance of the Carpathian Basin would provide sufficient water if we managed according to the landscape. But today everything is determined by the hunger for profit, which exploits the environment. In the place of our floodplains there are arable lands with green belly. Let the rivers run across the country instead of soaking the soil with life-giving water. EU decision-making in the context of the climate crisis focuses on the composition of the air and, on this basis, creates unenforceable emission rules, but the new technologies used to do so increase the pollution of soil and groundwater. In Hungary, in parallel with the drought, the water pollution effect of battery factories must also be taken into account, i.e. in Hungary, too, environmental protection is overridden by economic lobbies. The Earth is a complex system that requires complex answers, you can't pick out some problems. If we want real solutions, we need to move towards locality and use EU funds to support closer-to-nature solutions that are tailored to local specificities.

Addressing EU demographic challenges: towards the implementation of the 2023 Demography Toolbox (debate)

Dear Mr President, The child is a blessing, life is sacred. The main meaning of human life is the upbringing of the next generation. The developed world has denied these ancient truths. Consumer society has focused on the freedom of the individual rather than the well-being of the community, and lies about childbirth as a barrier to self-realization. Europe has taken the path of self-destruction by trying to solve the population crisis through mass migration. This idea has failed. Labour shortages remained, but new problems arose and Europe was in jeopardy. Population exchange must be stopped. Instead of gender propaganda, it is necessary to make the traditional family model attractive, which is the basis of individual happiness and social stability. Marriage and childcare should be promoted. We need to protect the lives we conceive. It is a shame that this is not included in the Commission's programme. We need to make people aware that abortion is not a health horn, it is the taking of life. The only way for Europe to have a future, to regain its competitiveness, is to restore holiness to life and the blessing of the European child.

Recent legislation targeting LGBTQI persons and the need for protecting the rule of law and a discrimination-free Union (debate)

Dear Madam President, You sit backwards on the horse, demanding additional rights for LGBTQ people, terrorizing majority societies on behalf of a dwarf minority. The goal is to destroy nations and families by poisoning the souls of children. The gender lobby is using children as a tool, forcing same-sex marriages, their right to adopt, promoting horrific sex-change surgeries, but violating children's rights and needs. A child has the right to his parents, the right to a carefree childhood, healthy development, respect for his sex at birth. We protect them from you and from paedophile networks operating in the money and celebrity world, as well as from child welfare institutions influenced by the gender lobby, which often unjustifiably separate children from their parents. You penalise those Member States where the rights of the child are protected by law. I, on the other hand, ask them and the Hungarian Government to tighten these laws and punish the abusers of our children with a deterrent punishment.

Dear Madam President, As early as 1937, a brilliant Hungarian poet wrote that money is the weapon in a state governed by the rule of law, even though he did not know how the European Commission works. You are constantly lecturing us on democracy and the rule of law, while freezing our money if we do not follow your anti-national dictates. We already knew that they were not real democrats, but they did not try to hide this in the votes of the commissioners-designate. Democracy works here as long as the vote produces the result you expect, otherwise it will simply be postponed. Only those who are approved by the federal globalist circles can be members of the Commission. No dissenting opinion. The President of the Commission could only be chosen from a candidate charged with serious allegations of corruption. The fish stinks from his head. Do you know how we know these methods? From the time of Stalinist personal cult. It is now clear not only that the Commission is the most corrupt organisation in Europe, but also that it is the most undemocratic.

EU actions against the Russian shadow fleets and ensuring a full enforcement of sanctions against Russia (debate)

Dear Madam President, You are thinking about the war unilaterally, from a Ukrainian perspective, sanctioning only the Russians, while suppressing the violations committed by the Ukrainians. It is unacceptable for them to condone everything, even though they systematically violate the rights of the ethnic minorities living there. Before the war, there were 200,000 indigenous Hungarians living in Ukraine, hundreds of whom had already died at the front and tens of thousands had fled. For us Hungarians, their fate is the most important. In addition to drastically restricting their language and educational rights, they are subject to regular physical atrocities. Last year, the Hungarian NGO National Rights Defender Service submitted a detailed human rights report to the EU leadership. Do you know that the Ukrainian authorities have been constraining you with mafia methods lately? People are abducted by vans from settlements inhabited by Hungarians, without sparing the elderly or the sick, and families are asked to pay up to $25,000 in bounties for their release. Last week, a hearing-impaired Hungarian man on disability pension was abducted. You don't think these are war crimes?

A stronger Europe for safer products to better protect consumers and tackle unfair competition: boosting EU oversight in e-commerce and imports (debate)

Dear Mr President, The products produced locally by local producers protect the environment and also strengthen the national economy, i.e. they serve the well-being of society in all aspects. This is why my party, the Mi Hazánk Mozgalom, started to organize domestic producer fairs in Hungary, thus promoting the consumption of high-quality local products. The food industry is particularly vulnerable in this area. There is a need to curb dumping of the often low-quality, cross-continental, over-chemical products of global food chains. The economic interests of multinationals must not override people's right to a healthy life, but we must also prevent political bias from opening the way for agricultural products that do not meet EU standards, as is the case for many Ukrainian products. Imports of adulterated honey from third countries should also be prohibited with immediate effect. To this end, I also prepared a presentation that was tabled by the ESN group, but the AGRI Committee refused to put it on the agenda. Please think about this again.

The rise of religious intolerance in Europe (debate)

Dear Madam President, Hungary has been the bastion of Christianity for a thousand years, moreover, freedom of conscience and religious freedom was first written down in Hungary in the middle of the sixteenth century. Nowadays they can take an example of us, because no one is threatened, persecuted or penalized because of their beliefs. The same cannot be said of most EU Member States. The EU leadership has flooded our continent with masses of people from foreign cultures, and as a result, anti-Christianism has reached eerie proportions. But it is not only the increasingly worrying spread of radical Islam that poses a threat, but also the fanatical adherents of liberal ideologies who deny and attack the traditional values that have made Europe great. They demand tolerance of themselves, while at the same time they have a fearful intolerance for Christian symbols. Churches are burning in France, the saints of the nativity scene are beheaded in Germany. This is the true extreme. Modern liberties are also rooted in Christianity. If the EU does not defend its Christian traditions, it should dig its own grave.

2024 Annual Rule of law report (debate)

Dear Mr President, Thank you for the report. It would be good to read an equally detailed analysis of the functioning of the European Commission and the European Court of Justice. As far as Hungary is concerned, as a member of the opposition party, I too have a number of criticisms about the activities of the Hungarian government, especially with regard to corruption, but if there is no rule of law or freedom of speech in Hungary, I reject this. Perhaps they think so because the information is obtained rather one-sidedly. They mainly involve organizations that are ideological opponents of traditional values and national ideas. These NGOs will never say good things about right-wing governments. Finally, tell me how it is possible that, although the report identifies serious problems with the rule of law in a number of Member States, Hungary is the only one to be blocked.

Presentation of the programme of activities of the Hungarian Presidency (debate)

Dear Madam President, With God for our country and our freedom. This is the slogan of one of our freedoms, and this is what Hungarian virtuosity stands for. It is in this spirit that we fight for self-determination and defend ourselves against biased political attacks by the leadership of the Union. You're punishing us, you're not paying us the money we're owed, and you're not contributing to border protection costs. They also wanted to boycott the programme of the Hungarian Presidency, even though it puts important issues on the agenda. The migration and demographic crisis could lead to the destruction of Europe, with competitiveness and agriculture in a critical position. However, the people of Europe have sent you a clear message in recent weeks' national elections. They don't want mass migration, suicidal greening, aberrant gender ideology and war madness. If the future of Europe were more important to you than the interests of the global financial elite, you would follow the Hungarian path, protecting Europe from destruction. You have betrayed the people of Europe, but we are also fighting for them. Therefore, I also ask the Prime Minister of Hungary to resist the pressure and to assure the Hungarians that there will be no migrant camp from our country.

The historic CJEU ruling on the Apple state aid case and its consequences (debate)

Oh, Mr. President. Bittech companies regularly violate national and EU laws, be it on taxation, competition law or citizens' fundamental rights. Market-leading large online platforms abuse their position to interfere in the domestic policies of nation states, often even influencing elections. The pages of politicians opposed to globalist aspirations are arbitrarily deleted. The Apple ruling highlights the possibility of forcing global corporations to comply with our laws. The same resolute action should be taken against Meta's unlawful practice, as the company restricts freedom of expression by regularly censoring and deleting patriotic content on its online platforms. Apple's example shows that the most effective tax, competition and consumer protection tools can be used to regulate global companies. The DSA Regulation was adopted with reference to the protection of fundamental rights. If the Commission does not act against the dictatorship of opinion, it will continue to assist in infringements, demonstrating that it can accept negative discrimination in the area of freedom of expression.

The Hungarian “National Card” scheme and its consequences for Schengen and the area of freedom, security and justice (debate)

Madam President, I'm sorry. Hungaria est semper libera, Hungary is free forever. This is the main principle of our historical constitutionality for more than 1,100 years, and we expect our independence, laws and customs to be respected by all. Don't expect us to give up on that. Since we have a right-wing government in Hungary, the leadership of the EU has been constantly attacking us instead of protecting European citizens. In fact, those who do so are punished. Do I understand that the Commission is criticising the Hungarian Government's national card programme for security risks? That's an incredibly hypocritical attitude. They have no right to do so, as they have been allowing millions of illegal migrants into Europe for years without any control. Your insane and irresponsible treachery has killed thousands of Europeans or made them victims of crime. And my country is being punished for protecting its own borders and those of the Union. The EU Blue Card Programme gives far more opportunities to workers from outside the EU than the Hungarian national card. That's a rough double standard. Referring to the infiltration of Russian spies is ridiculous, because as a researcher of the operation of the secret services, I can assure you that Russian spies will not infiltrate with the Hungarian national card, just as the Cambridge Five were not Soviet citizens at the time. We Hungarians may have a problem with this regulation, and we do, but we will have this debate at home. Get off our backs and pay the 2 billion euros it has cost to protect Hungary's and the EU's borders, and free up the financial resources owed to my country with immediate effect.

The devastating floods in Central and Eastern Europe, the loss of lives and the EU’s preparedness to act on such disasters exacerbated by climate change (debate)

Madam President, I'm sorry. On behalf of my group, I express my gratitude to those who are still protecting human lives and the built environment on the dams. Thank you for your heroism and service to your country. In Hungary, the phenomena of flooding and desertification go hand in hand with the problems that go hand in hand. The river regulation of the 19th century destroyed the natural water balance of the area. The water management of the Carpathian Basin as a geographical unit is also complicated by the fact that the area was divided up after the First World War. In Hungary, rivers run through, there is no possibility of spreading out and leaking into groundwater, which is why our farmland, which once served as a pantry for Europe, is becoming desert. The solution would be to create floodplain reservoirs, so-called water banks, which could be filled up during ordinary and extraordinary floods and then gradually re-introduced in drier times. This is not unfamiliar, our ancestors used it for centuries, and this is how Hungarians lived together with the landscape and the weather. I ask the Commission to contribute to the cost of flood protection in my country and to help develop and implement a project that would solve the water management of the countries in the catchment basins of the Danube and Tisza by creating floodplain management.

War in the Gaza Strip and the situation in the Middle-East (debate)

Madam President, I'm sorry. As in the Russo-Ukrainian war, the Gaza conflict requires an immediate ceasefire and then peace. Since last October's bloody Hamas attack, more than 40,000 people have been killed, the vast majority of them Palestinian civilians, many women and children. We do not question Israel's right to self-defence, but the Israeli genocide during the occupation of Gaza and the retaliatory military actions cannot be explained by any right to self-defence. They are not sparing cultural heritage, they are destroying hospitals and schools. While the Ukrainian-Russian conflict is being broadcast almost live in the Western media, not even a fraction of the suffering of Palestinian civilians is being presented, and the protection of human rights and human life belongs to everyone, regardless of colour, religion or descent. Israel has been violating international law and human rights conventions for decades. Instead of a two-state solution, he is waging war against the Palestinian people, who are fighting for their self-determination. We call on the responsible bodies of the European Union and the United Nations to put an end to the massacre and to work for peace.

Outcome of the Strategic Dialogue on the Future of EU Agriculture (debate)

Oh, Mr. President. European beekeepers in danger must be rescued, and I express their cry for help. Without beekeepers there are no bees, without bees there is no pollination, without pollination there is no agriculture. 76% of food production is dependent on bees. If the Commission does not immediately ban imports of honey from third countries, the livelihoods of 600,000 European beekeepers will be at risk later this year. Cheap and mostly counterfeit products from China and Ukraine push high-quality honey from European producers out of the market. Since 2022, unlimited quantities of honey can be imported from Ukraine. The vast majority of these are also Chinese counterfeits and do not comply with strict EU animal health rules. Honey adulteration is a huge loss for European beekeepers. In order to save them, I call on the Commission to immediately ban the import of honey and to ban the mixing of high-quality honey from European beekeepers with other products! We will present our proposal to this effect shortly. I call on your support for this and I call on the Commission to take immediate action.
