100 days of the new Commission – Delivering on defence, competitiveness, simplification and migration as our priorities (topical debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. The first 100 days of the new European Commission are 100 days of the sad truth about Europe's position in the current geopolitical and economic world. It is also 100 days of truth about the leadership of the European Union, to which we owe the current, marginal position of Europe. Today's policy of the European Commission by Ursula von der Leyen is a continuation of the policy of her infamous predecessors bringing to mind the migration, economic, military and demographic crises. You may insult those who told the king he was naked, but that doesn't change the fact that they were right. You can surround us with a sanitary cordon, afraid of the truths we preach, but the truth will not change. The European Commission, you have shown that in one area you are second to none. This field is creativity in creating new, but nothing changing slogans and programs, the only effect of which is to improve your well-being. The current European Commission is the biggest threat to Europe and the best that Europeans could face is its resignation.
Competitiveness Compass (debate)
Albert Einstein once said, "It is insane to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results." The competitiveness strategy published by the European Commission is not a breakthrough. After the publication of the Draghi report, Europeans were counting on the reflection of the European Commission. Meanwhile, we only had a change of narrative before the elections. What about after the election? The European Commission actually admits that it needs a compass because it has been wrong so far. But this compass in the assumptions is still to indicate the same course. Do you like this game of words? Do you like to introduce new concepts, invent new words in which you dress the same policy just so that nothing changes? Still the same thing - decarbonisation, federalisation, energy poverty. That's what you're offering us today. Production escapes where it can develop freely and where it is welcome. The problem of competitiveness is not on the part of entrepreneurs. The problem of European competitiveness is the stubborn ass of the European Commission. Europe needs more freedom, not burdensome regulation. Europe needs GPS today, not an outdated compass. Europe needs patriotic rule today.
Powering Europe’s future - advancing the fusion industry for energy independence and innovation (debate)
Ladies and Gentlemen, In March 2023, Germany's last three nuclear power plants were shut down, and this month, German media reported the commissioning of all available and previously shut down coal-fired power plants in the country. The decision was taken due to a sharp decline in the production of energy from renewable sources. Until recently, the Greens in this Parliament argued that RES is the only salvation for the world. It's time to stand up for the truth, admit your mistake, and apologize. Before our eyes, reality verifies green propaganda. There is and will not be a stable energy market in Central Europe without coal and nuclear power. Nuclear power is not enough. We need to build nuclear power plants and at the same time not to be offended by coal. If we close all mines in Europe, we will buy coal in Colombia and Australia, and through extended supply chains neither the climate nor our economy will benefit.
Heat record year 2024 - the need for climate action to fight global warming (debate)
Ladies and Gentlemen, The measure of detachment from the reality that has affected the Brussels elite is the fact that officials at the highest level are engaged in tracking the weather. Your plan is very clear. The strategy of fear pursued here is so intrusive and primitive that among this wiser part of Europeans it causes laughter and pity alternately. And the goal is obvious: We're supposed to believe that if it weren't for the Green Deal and Fit for 55, we'd all be frying like Belgian fries. Parliament is debating that it is too hot, while our citizens are rather too cold because they cannot afford the most expensive energy in the world that you have given them. Do you want to convince someone that it's worth living? Convince China and India of your policies. Europeans have had enough. They don't want to be punished for the whole world, for heating their homes, buying cars, flying planes, and eating meat. That's enough. Long live carbon dioxide! Long live freedom!
Challenges facing EU farmers and agricultural workers: improving working conditions, including their mental well-being (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. The European Commission only offers restrictions, injunctions and bans to farmers. You exclude them from the use of further plant protection products, make them fallow or flood their own lands, impose taxes on emissions, and above all build a narrative that animal husbandry is immoral and unethical. You tell farmers that your policy is about animal welfare. At the same time, you despise the fate of the people who breed these animals. Farmers are paying the highest price for your policies today. It is on their shoulders that the consequences of your decisions fall. It is you who have on your conscience the farmers who have taken their own lives. This was the case last year with the death of Roland Hamsik from the Netherlands, and this is the case with Michał Sołdan, a farmer from Poland buried two days ago, who after the agricultural strikes in March 2023, under the rule of Donald Tusk, was oppressively and unjustly imprisoned in prison for opposing you. That's enough! It is time to reject policies that are leading to the destruction of European family farms and farmers to the brink of mental endurance. Do not talk about the mental well-being of farmers anymore, because you are the main reason for their deteriorating condition, not only financially, but also mentally.
Promoting social dialogue and collective bargaining and the right to strike in the EU (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. Ladies and Gentlemen, We are here today to debate social dialogue and the right to strike. My proposal to the European Commission is this: Promote social dialogue in the first place in your own institution, and this is best before implementing your stupid ideas, which only cause strikes, because they do not entail any socially acceptable positive reforms. I know you don't like to admit your mistakes. So far, the European Commission has taken authoritarian decisions on strategic issues for the European economy, contrary to the opinions of experts and specialists, as well as strikes and protests by representatives of these industries. You consider yourselves to be the enlightened elites governing a dark people who, in your perception, have no right to be right. Reality is merciless to you. The state of the European economy clearly verifies your disrespectful attitude towards people with different points of view. Is this your social dialogue? You are wrong in your policies and cannot admit your mistakes. You can't have any dialogue with society. Unfortunately, you have not grown up to be the leaders of the European continent.

EU-US relations in light of the outcome of the US presidential elections (debate)
Madam President, thank you very much. The European mainstream has looked at Donald Trump with contempt over the past years, going all kinds of insinuations and lies about him. Democracy in the United States is doing well and we in the European Union can only envy Americans. Today they enjoy a breath of true freedom, while we fight against the increasingly authoritarian government of the EU elites. Trump's victory may be for Europe a moment of truth and hope for the changes that must take place in the European Union so that we do not fall into the economic third league. After all, it is today that the European Union is an open-air museum of harmful ideas and utopian policies that make our industry uncompetitive. The world is not following Europe. The world looks at such a Europe with pity and our task is to change it. We believe that common sense will prevail in Europe in the near future. The time of patriots is also coming in Europe.
Continued war crimes committed by the Russian Federation, notably killing Ukrainian prisoners of war (debate)
Mr President, thank you very much. Russians execute Ukrainian prisoners of war. We strongly condemn this. For us in Poland, the crimes of the USSR or Russia are nothing new. While Stalin was still an ally of Germany in the first period of World War II, he executed over 10,000 Polish officers, soldiers and police officers in Katyn. This has been the barbaric nature of Russian imperialism for centuries. The people of Eastern Europe have come to know and understand this nature. Western Europe has always had good relations with imperial Russia. Unfortunately, the entire political spectrum of Western Europe is tainted by this sentimental and naive image of Russia. There is no Russia respecting human life or any values of the civilized world, a world based on respect for man. Russia does not understand the language of the resolution, the international conventions you want to talk to it. Not more than three decades ago, the Budapest Memorandum was signed, under which Ukraine gave up nuclear warheads for the Russian guarantee of the inviolability of borders. How much these guarantees provided by the United Kingdom and the United States were worth, we can all see clearly today. Let's draw conclusions and invest in the defense capabilities of our armies.
Presentation of the programme of activities of the Hungarian Presidency (debate)
Madam President, thank you very much. Mr. Prime Minister! Ladies and Gentlemen, The European Union is in a deep crisis of leadership. Today, the leaders of the EU institutions are not guided by responsibility or even elementary reason. They impose harmful economic policies and even more harmful ideologies on millions of citizens. For them, democracy is a democracy only if it brings victory to the clapper of Brussels. With the support of Brussels decision-makers, you can do absolutely anything. An extreme example of this EU pathology is the action of the government of Donald Tusk in Poland, which Mr Weber set as a model. Do you know what is happening in Poland now? Do you know what the system of the rule of law is currently directed by Mr Donald? Meanwhile, as the EU immerses itself in an inept solution to the problems it causes, the Hungarian government is effectively striving for the future and security of its people. I do not expect the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union to repair all the damage caused by the EU establishment. I know that this is not possible during the six-month period of your Presidency. I'm only expecting one thing. And that's what I'm asking: Never give up. Remain a bright spot on the map of Europe, a model for other nations. Long live the Polish-Hungarian friendship!
The severe situation of political prisoners in Belarus
Dear Madam President, Ladies and Gentlemen, We have been observing systemic harassment of the Polish minority in Belarus for years, and the fate of political prisoners, like Andrzej Poczobut, is alarming. Unfortunately, the deterioration of the situation of the Polish minority in Belarus and the mass arrests intensified after the European Union’s interference in the 2020 elections. We now know that EU politicians did not take into account the consequences of their actions for the local population and did not foresee that they would push Lukashenka into Putin’s embrace. It is a scandal that Andrzej Poczobut as a political prisoner does not arouse anyone's interest. It is not demanded by EU politicians. It was also not included in the recent exchange of prisoners between Belarus and Russia and Western countries. We demand real action by the EU authorities on Poczobut and all Lukashenka's political prisoners. We Poles will never forget Andrzej Poczobut and we will not stop fighting for his freedom and for the rights of the Polish minority in Belarus.
