One-minute speeches on matters of political importance
Mr President! According to the latest findings, several Ukrainians with the best connections in the highest army and intelligence circles are responsible for the attack on Nordstream 2. We Germans, who pay billions in aid to Ukraine, are also mocked by the suspects. In a conversation with the left-wing magazine The mirror The attack on the energy supply is described by the alleged Ukrainian masterminds as a blessing for Germany. But those who ridicule Germany are also in our ranks. While this House is discussing the alleged need to defend critical infrastructure against Russia, the CDU justifies the attack on Nordstream. The CDU member of parliament Michael Gahler even considers the attack in Ukraine to be legitimate. What madness! Whoever puts the interest of Ukraine above the interest of Germany, as the CDU obviously does in this House, is the real opponent of Germany.
Enhancing Europe’s civilian and defence preparedness and readiness (debate)
I have a question because there has been a lot of talk about it today. They have also echoed this in the subordinate clause that it is about many protective measures, for example, also about critical infrastructure. And as Germans, we know – it has happened recently – that critical infrastructure has been attacked, and that is the Nord Stream pipeline. And it was not our alleged enemies who did this, but the Ukrainians in particular are suspected of having done so. And also your party family – Mr Sikorski has publicly welcomed the fact on X that this demolition has taken place. So in this respect: Just explain to me for your faction why you believe that our enemies are a greater risk than our supposed friends.
Protecting the EU budget and ensuring that EU funds do not benefit entities or individuals linked to terrorist or Islamist movement (debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen! Islamist terrorists have been subsidised by the EU for years with enormous subsidies. This is mainly done through the so-called Refugee Agency for Palestinians – UNRWA. Since 2007, around 2 billion euros of European taxpayers' money have been burned for this alone. Even if the current actions of Israel must certainly be critically questioned: From the point of view of EU taxpayers, this tax waste is unacceptable. For years, the AfD has been calling for these so-called aid services to be stopped. But the EU Commission is doing exactly the opposite. It is transferring more and more money to UNRWA, even though many of its employees participated directly in the barbaric terrorist attacks on October 7. A senior Hamas commander in Lebanon, eliminated by Israel, even worked as a teacher for UNRWA at the same time. Dear colleagues, it would be very easy to stop the misuse of EU taxpayers' money. Finally stop all financial benefits to UNRWA!
Facing fake news, populism and disinformation in the EU - the importance of public broadcasting, media pluralism and independent journalism (debate)
Madam President, ladies and gentlemen! While the EU speaks here of the importance of media pluralism and independent journalism, it is attacking with all its power with its allies, above all the German government. The alternative medium Compact The Minister of the Interior in Germany tried to ban it. The answer to my question to the Commission on how this is being assessed does not even address this issue. The Commission does not care about this attack on freedom of the press. The Commission is even more implausible when it comes to fake news. As a result of the Digital Service Act In Germany, a green NGO as a so-called trustworthy whistleblower should now order social media such as X to delete even explicitly non-criminal content. Thanks to high penalties, they will have to follow suit. Under the guise of fighting fake news and disinformation, freedom of expression is being fought and not protected. We will fight it with all our might.
The Hungarian “National Card” scheme and its consequences for Schengen and the area of freedom, security and justice (debate)
Thank you for the question! I believe we have found that there are phenomena in Europe that did not exist before, that did not exist before this mass migration. We talked about Solingen yesterday; We are talking about the fact that knife murders take place every day in Germany and Europe. This did not happen ten years ago; Many years ago, there were no mass rapes. This is the phenomenon we have only since this mass migration.
The Hungarian “National Card” scheme and its consequences for Schengen and the area of freedom, security and justice (debate)
Mr President, ladies and gentlemen! It is unsurprising that the usual suspects are concerned about the new national card Echauffing in Hungary. But they would do better if they were to deal with the background and show a little self-criticism, instead of immediately falling into snuff. Basically, this is national card nothing more than a visa, with very wide-ranging possibilities, such as family reunification or a permanent residence permit – that is, nothing more than what the EU allows to benefit everyone who enters here illegally and applies for asylum. The crucial difference is that in Hungary this only applies to people who provide different proofs, such as a job or health insurance, and who come from eight different countries from a similar cultural background. A permanent residence permit is only available if you have paid taxes for three years, and not as in Germany, for example, because you have been there for a long time. The outcry is also so great because Russia and Belarus are also among these eight countries. Many of the 770 000 Russian citizens in the EU live in Germany thanks to a long migration history, are hard-working, well-integrated and a valuable part of our society. Unlike the usual countries of asylum, they do not stand out by stabbing others or raping our wives and daughters. And the latter is still welcomed with open arms and, above all, with an open wallet. Instead of posing a major danger now, the EU should rather ask itself why individual Member States react with such measures. The answer is obvious: The EU migration policy deliberately attracts unqualified foreigners who burden our welfare state, erode internal security and destroy our countries in the long term. The fact that Hungary is now specifically promoting culturally-oriented labour migration is therefore solely due to the total failure of this EU.
