Madam President, I'm sorry. Mr. Commissioner, I'm sorry. I will not repeat how important this segment of services is for the citizens of the European Union. Commissioner Breton made this very clear. The regulation that we will be voting on tomorrow is undoubtedly a very important step towards ending a kind of "free American" in terms of short-term rentals. I am glad that we have managed to balance the result, which will provide greater security for tenants and at the same time will not expose landlords to the need to confront complicated bureaucracy. I also believe that the new regulation will allow us to clean up the rental market through sustainable development, which will benefit both short-term tenants and permanent tenants. In addition, the regulation will also allow local authorities to obtain valuable data, thanks to the fact that they will be able to propose better solutions in their tourism and housing policy. This is a good example of how the law of the European Union addresses the problems of ordinary citizens of the European Union.
