European Union Agency for Asylum (continuation of debate)
The European Union Agency for Asylum can provide logistical assistance to Member States in managing migration and coordinating with each other, but this is not the only and key issue. It is much more important to make long-term quality political decisions about who and under what conditions can come to live in the European Union. And these decisions need to be widely communicated so that those migrants who will not be able to come to the European Union or leave their homes will not be able to do so. Also, no member should be forced to accept migrants who do not want to receive them. The economic realities of the Member States are different and this should be respected, as well as the will of citizens in a given country. In any case, we must not allow sympathetic migration. We need to strengthen cooperation with third countries and strive to manage migration processes already at the starting point at the source. The verse responds only to organized crime and those who use emotional blackmail in the political arena to push their multi-cult globalist agenda.
The future of EU-US relations (debate)
Dear Chairman, colleagues, strengthening transatlantic ties is important for Europe and for the United States, and that is why I support this report. Still, the optimism and the rapporteur about the arrival of the new Biden administration reminds me of the arrival of Barack Obama to the reckless and undeserved award of the Nobel Prize and the unfulfilled expectations, and I remind you that TTIP also collapsed right around the time of Barack Obama. President Biden has made some very good decisions for the part of Europe I come from, but his overall foreign policy has so far not proved very successful. The biggest problem with this policy as well as the policies of European globalists is that they want to impose their worldview on other peoples, which is undemocratic and it is ultimately always unsuccessful. In any case, the European Union should not favour any US administration. It is not for us to judge the will of American citizens, but to adapt to it and find a common language with every American administration.
European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control - Serious cross-border threats to health (debate)
Dear Chairman, I fully support the report of my colleague Kopćinska in its original form. Cooperation in the field of health is extremely important and that is why I have a serious appeal. Today in the European Union, depending on the country, we have 30 to 50% of people who do not want to get vaccinated against Covid. It's just a fact and we need to look at whatever anyone thinks about it. We have people who get vaccinated twice so they get the corona, we have people who can't get vaccinated against the corona. But there is something that everyone has in common, regardless of the fact that there are divided opinions about vaccination. We all want and need to help treat all people who get corona. That is why I appeal to the European Commission, invest heavily in the development of medicines. We simply need to involve all European health institutions like this European Centre and we can make great scientific progress in this field as well. Already there are treatments in the world that have helped many people to heal more easily. Just as you have invested in the development of vaccines, now you also invest in the development of medicines. Now we have huge problems in economies, we have divisions between people and restrictions on basic human freedoms. So invest in drugs and help people get back to normal life.
European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (debate)
In coastal areas, fishing is not just one of the main economic sectors, but fishing represents the preservation of the life of fishermen who feed their families and represent the preservation of the Mediterranean culture. That is why it is very important that we find a good balance between the conservation of fish stocks and the interests of fishermen. In order to do this, we need to take into account the specifics of the individual waters and the maritime tradition of each region. This report does so and that is why I thank the rapporteur. The Commission has proposed that during this six-year programming period fishermen can be compensated for the temporary cessation of fishing for a maximum of six months, and through this report we have managed to achieve a double increase, i.e. a maximum of 12 months in total, and this is a great victory, because our fishermen are so realistically unable to fish because of the different spawning periods of the fish they catch.
