Speeches
Mr President, thank you very much. Mrs. Commissar, I'm sorry. The situation in Hungary shows how inaction and omissions end. As Orbán walked through European salons, homophobia demons woke up in Hungary. Mrs. Commissar, I'm sorry. You say you are acting and at the same time our friends from Hungary are victims of further human rights violations. We know that the seventh article does not work, which is why we are asking for a mechanism of conditionality. We appeal, we ask you: Let's get started! Start defending democracy and human rights! What else must happen for you to say enough? Where is Ursula von der Leyen, when people lose more rights, when their dignity is violated, when they can only dream of freedom? Mrs. Commissar, I'm sorry. Two years of the new Commission are about to pass, and it is getting worse every day in Hungary.
