One-minute speeches on matters of political importance
Madam President, The EU has imposed sanctions on Russian oligarchs this year. When will they finally impose sanctions on the rest? We should give an ultimatum to all billionaires worldwide: If you haven't solved the climate crisis in a year, you will be expropriated. You have everything you need: fossil companies, money, all media, all social media, millions of workers and many politicians. As a milder variant, I suggest a TV format. The concept: Each year, the richest person is accompanied. Does Elon Musk manage to solve the climate crisis with his wealth, or is he just too evil for it? At the end of the show, he is expropriated. At least as a spectator there would be something of it. Important: We shouldn't let the billionaires down the way they let us down. I think they should be treated in the same way as other addictions. For example, I think of Fixerstuben, where they are paid play money as a substitute.
