What Hynek spoke about.

Mr President, Poland is a sovereign state with democratically elected institutions, acting in the interests of its citizens, and no one has the right to impose on it from the outside their idea of how it should work. Why are we interfering? Is it not enough for us to have foreign failures in rebalancing democracy into Iraq, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, and today the conflict in Ukraine has increased? In fact, there was one success, our meddling. We have managed to raise the migration wave, which we do not know how to deal with today. I think there are many other problems to solve, and one of them, and most importantly, is the end of the war in Ukraine. Against all this, Poland and its internal functioning is a completely marginal matter. But as they say, everyone does what it takes. Let's stop mentoring, lecturing, imposing our ideas on democracy, and figure out what to do. We will avoid so many problems. For these reasons, I voted against.

Madam President, colleagues, using Rule 195 of the Rules of Procedure, let me say a few words. One of you has put or arranged for a disgusting picture to be put on my office door. I consider this a cowardly and unprecedented attack on my rights as a Member of Parliament. Totally unacceptable pressure. There are even individuals among you who, on social media, call on citizens to report those who have a different opinion. They call for lists of such citizens to be drawn up and demand their internment. Is that the concept of democracy? Are these the European values? Shame on you!

Mr President, let me express my full support for what my colleague Radačovský has said here. I'm a Czech. My dad was Slovak. So I actually have half of my relatives in Slovakia and I have never met what is described here. They all come from different social backgrounds. Of course, everyone condemns this act, but the most terrible thing about the whole thing is that it is generalized here, that by the fact that it happened, so that Czech or Slovak society is bad? You can't be serious about that.
